The same people who are whining about Dalaran being destroyed are whining about the whole "Dark Ranger survival" thing. So good. I'm glad Dalaran gets destroyed. How many iterations of it do you need to rp in, exactly?

I'm much more hyped for TWW than for Midnight since Midnight seems to aim for some sort of revamp, so not as interesting as brand new zones. Also dwarves are cool.

It's not like Dalaran is taken away anyway

I haven't seen it anywhere but since I'm a mog nerd, the first thing I've done was to play around with WoWhead's dressing room.

There is a lot of cosmetic "basic" sets in the alpha's DB and you can access them on WoWhead's dressing room. Since it's a little buggy, I've uploaded a screen of all 7 sets with their 5 on this imgur. Right now, they're cosmetic and thus they can be mogged by any class. Please Blizzard, don't revert that change. I want to look like a commoner on my alt. You'll recognize one of those sets as it is the reward of Gilneas' battle.

It's also worth noting that we finally have decent normal looking boots. (they can still do better imo, but it's a good start)

    Thanks for screens.

Honestly im more hyped about these than tier sets, especially the big boots like you mentioned on img presented, i will be using it on my orcs and dwarves.

There is a void sect of Arathi (The Order of Night) but they don't seem to be the villains of the first dungeon in the church, who are all light oriented. Nice touch.

There is a goblin boss in Meadery who I guess could be related to Undermine?

The set is great. Which is why I really don't like that the version with the colouration that Nozdormu actually uses is hidden behind Elite PvP.
I can only hope that the same won't be the case for the TWW set and the version that actually looks like Deathwing.

Order of the Night seems kinda villainous.

Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

I will begin my examination with a race known as night elves, or KALDOREI. Night elven culture is deeply connected to the natural environment in which they surround themselves. These humanoids prefer a form of interment that mirrors their ties to nature.

The body of the deceased individual is ritualistically cleansed in pools of moonlit water by priestesses of their faith. Their healers appear to combine arcane and nature magic to mend the dead body for a final viewing. The name of the departed is sung by the priestesses from their holy temples, devoted arias that highlight the life and sacrifices of the fallen they mourn as a burial shroud is draped around the deceased. Upon a bier draped with flowers, the remains are brought to a grove of trees (organic flora of which this culture seems especially fond).

The remains are then placed upon a patch of grass, and another--one who can seemingly manipulate the energies of nature--takes part in the rite to spur on the growth of plants around the corpse. From this rapid growth springs forth a wide spectrum of colorful blooms all around the body. First to outline the empty vessel, then ultimately encasing the body entirely. What was left behind now fulfills its place in the cycle of those inconveniently bound to Life.

    p. 13
So it establishes that Night Elven priests using moonwells wield nature and arcane magic rather than light and differentiates them from druids who actually bury the body with plants.

That's where I pulled them from, but the bosses in Priory of the Sacred Flame are all light users without void phases.

Those seem nice. But i get a feeling of "starting equipment for a new character" vibe from them. The current ones are atrocious, so a update in that regard (with a new starting zone?) would be nice.

Neat to see moon wells getting use beyond the classic quest around them, though it does make me wonder if this is just a moon well thing or what.

Also if you could do the same to a undead which seems like such a missed opportunity to mention with Sira and the other undead night elfs.
Evil only wins when it spreads. It can cause destruction, it can cause death—but those are consequences of its nature, not its victory. Not its goal. The danger of evil, the purpose of evil, is that it causes those who would oppose it to become evil also.

I think the reading here can be differentiated.

the body of the deceased individual is ritualistically cleansed in pools of moonlit water by priestesses of their faith.
This is clear, priestess wash the body.

Their healers appear to combine arcane and nature magic to mend the dead body for a final viewing.
Now here it get's ambiguous. It says healers. Not Priestesses, Priesthood, clergy, or the like. Healers can mean simply a druid, which do use arcane and nature magic.

If it meant druid then it wouldn't need to later specify "another" and qualify that the other is capable of manipulating nature.

Well if Dalaran is canonically destroyed, RPing on Northrend or Broken Isles can be a bit weird. "We know this thing doesn't exists anymore, but lets hang out in Legerdemain Lounge anyways."

There's a certain guy on twitter who's crying about dalaran getting destroyed because his alt char won't be able to RP there anymore, lol.

Such developments are honestly good for RP imo. There's plenty of cities to physically RP in, but the world is an ongoing story and people's characters and stories should be reacting to world-level events that are beyond their control, rather than locations being kept from changing simply because they are nice to be in.

It's another facet to work into a character, that they've lost their home or their favorite hangout, or family or friends.
