Oh, looks like we are in the "let's pretend only raids and their rewards are content" part of cycle in this thread.

To be fair raids do still set the bar for what is considered rewarding.

Whether that is a good idea or not is up for debate.

An archaic way of looking at patch content IMO but it's definitely one that's hammered into people's heads in WoW for some weird reason. Raiding is fun, raiding is cool and if you have the time & / or patience, even better for harder difficulties. But I've never bought that raids should be the only end-all or the sole focus of a patch. Dungeons, open world content, raids, smaller form factor events, world bosses, world events, etc. etc.

There are so many things that Blizzard are (most likely) going to be pushing into for the foreseeable future within WoW's end-game ecosystem.

Just realised we can't get the previous tier sets easily now, the world rewards now give base 460ilvl gear which can be transformed into normal amirdrassil tier, but I can't find a way to get 440ilvl gear for my missing LFR amirdrassil appearance :/

It's not super fast, but doesn't non-awakened LFR drop the old tier? And it should be a little easier as they nerfed the raids.

Yes, but it's not longer easy by transforming other pieces into tier.

Is the S4 Tier bonus compatible with previous seasons' items? Like, if your spec's S4 Tier bonus is the same as in S3, does a new Tier item count towards the same set bonus as your existing S3 Tier?

What's the cost like when upgrading expansions to higher editions? Does it charge you the difference between the edition you have and the edition you want to upgrade to?

Trying to buy the middle tier TWW but both the launcher and browser are hitting me with "We encountered an issue completing your transaction. Please try again later. <didn't copy this part, basically try again later or click link for support article>".
I'm guessing it's on Blizz's end. I'm using a prepaid VISA which is the same brand I always use to purchase subs/things from BattleNet, and it definitely has the correct funds. And I'm pretty sure I've paid a similar price for previous expansions without issue.

So I'm hoping by paying smaller increments by upgrading, it will let the payments through.

Faerin has a nice voice.

Her voice is lovely. Something unique, not another British or American voice, there's an accent there and I'm not quite sure what it is. I'm curious about her ears. Her last name is debatable as to what it means, but is she half elf? Was there a population of elves amongst the Arathi that traveled south?

And i saw people speculating about her shield arm. I wonder she's going to have her arm amputated from the elbow down, and her shield is strapped on to her upper arm? Because the shield sits VERY high up for it to be gripped normally, and I don't think this group of Arathor would be adherents of Tyr (as in, ceremoniously removing ones hand in reverence of Tyr).

Xal is a void lord....kinda

her brothers tore her apart
she talked about Elune like she wasnt a big deal
she referred to nzoth as "the weakest of us "

she was a void lord and torn apart by the other lords
her fragments are the old gods we know now. Xal herself was the 5th and the first to be sealed but not by the titans.

When nzoth died Alleria said more voices joined the void meaning the voices are like a pool and each time a powerful void being dies the pool gets bigger. Why is this important?? Because Alleria isnt hearing the void but a void lord.

Xal also seems to have ties to the Ethereals whose planet was destroyed by a void lord. Xal is also gathering something from every old god we have defeated which could be her reclaiming her "essence".

So i think she is trying to reform the void lord she once was. We also have to think about how this might be the way void lords attack planets via sporing themselves and then consuming. Azeroth had major protection so instead of a war just plant some cancer.


Then we have Alleria herself,
She is a "void hunter" and linked to Xal somehow while also being her arch nemesis. Locus walker could be grooming alleria to be the perfect vessel for an awakened Xal who as of now is in a fake body.
