Imo Gamescom would be likely with bigger reveal at Blizzcon and Alpha starting right then. Launch April 2026. Not sure if 4 months of testing would be enough especially with the holidays. I could see them delaying Midnight until late May. Which would suck, because it would still end up being 20-21 months which isnt much shorter if at all.
I suppose they could have Blizzcon earlier next year to facilitate timing better. Blizzcon in August with Alpha in October would make a lot of sense to me.
OW has huge potential. They need to do another free reboot and go 100% consumer friendly with it to save it.

They said closer to 18 months.

Mists classic will be out before next years blizzcon.

Honestly, I think they should collaborate with the Age of Empires Dev to create Star-craft 3.

Why do you bring up stuff about "woke" every time you come in here. No one mentioned anything about it. Obsessed much. Its sad.
Alpha inv wave is out.
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.
Dude, you are as sensitive and chronically online as the supposed vulnerable youths on twitter that you are complaining about
"Bad boys gathering in packs".
Lmao.
Saying this in the context of video game conventions is not only cringe but shows such a lack of self awareness that it's almost sad.
I was kind of expecting no BlizzCon this year. With the survival game cancelled and a Midnight deep-dive seeming unlikely so soon it didn't seem like there'd be any announcement to carry the hype. I'm not even sure if there'd be a 2025 BlizzCon—would that be too late for a Midnight announcement given their plans for faster releases? Would it be too soon for another Diablo expansion? Is there a surprise announcement that would be ready by that time? Can we get a Starcraft or HotS revival please?
As someone that plays OW almost as much as I play WoW, the game is nowhere near maintenance mode, but since it has a seasonal structure to the way it releases content it's difficult to point at any individual update as something that could carry hype the way an expansion could. Hero releases are generally the biggest announcements it has and yet they release about three heroes a year so they're not that special. Even the consumer friendliness stuff is way overblown, especially as of the most recent season where new heroes are once again released for free, the premium currency is a bit easier to earn for free, and mythic skins are no longer locked to their own season. People just keep bitching about shop skin prices (and often lying about it—no legendary skin has ever costed more than $19, but people keep pointing at bundle prices and shouting "$25 SKINS!!") even though they're pretty standard cosmetic prices for live-service FPS games.
As PVP shooter, Overwatch is in a good state and continues to improve with each season, but the live-service shooter genre has way more competition than MMORPGs and, in my opinion, Overwatch as an IP would benefit greatly from a non-competitive spinoff of some kind, whether it be a separate PvE game totally removed from the competitive game or an animated series or a full toolkit for player-created content to compliment the already pretty robust workshop mode.

Finally Fel-Scarred Hero Talent Tree and I really dig it. Definitively my Hero Talent choice. If the skills effects are cool it could be sick, spreading felfire everywhere.
New zone and dungeons and a Delve I believe.
They are moving fast.

Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive.
They for sure need a PR reset. Not sure what that would entail but.

Yeah, only snowflakes complain about other people being sensitive. I obviously have a stance and a political ideology, but I'm tired of him bringing it up every time he comes in here. Maybe I should ignore it, and maybe I do more harm than good by responding, but its cringe and this isn't the place for that. Hes welcome to start his own thread outside of the WoW forum to discuss it all.
Lol, Pursuit of Angryness?
Anyway, Fel Scarred seems what we'd expect, demon form focus. I hope it has a decent visual pay off.

Imo, beta will be 1-2 weeks after the final zone. They seem really far along for alpha this time.

The latest scandal on reddit is the shipping costs from US to Europe being so high for the 20th anniversary expac edition. No one cares that shipping prices worldwide have tripled since all the stuff in the middle East happened.
Can someone do a height comparison between Earthen and regular Dwarves?
