I think they'll be a prepatch feature of Midnight. They've been talking up Midnight as a climactic battle between Void and Light, how better to depict that than all races being allowed to be paladins, which can conveniently be leveled in the Midnight prepatch event with all the bonus XP prepatch events are known for.

Nathreza Expansion Believer

I feel like all of this is intentional. Exactly why I believe by the same token that the whole “vacant throne” “the crown of light will only bring darkness” has been so very conveniently subverted by the Arathians and their golden emperor.
In my opinion simply by virtue of Arathors vision which was again referenced in a thousand years of war, dying with his son after being crushed I think Turalyon will have an heroic death.
In general I don’t see any of the old crew surviving beyond the saga being honest
Did anyone catch the half-draneie/half-orc during the draenei heritage quest? Seems to be completely new NPC, Kothaar. As a german, his name is somewhat unfortunate.

Just did the draenei heritage and man, that was fantastic - aside from the abysmally low drop rates for bones on Bloodmyst. But I loved being in Bloodmyst again, its honestly my favorite zone. Always has been.
Also super surprised to see Sironas of all people.
Pandaria in Timerunning has a number of infinite dragons all over, as I understand it. At the least, Halfhill is full of them, from what I've seen elsewhere. They're here as part of the whole thing.
Yeah Draenei Heritage is phenomenal (f that bone quest but hey, it's fine). I feel bad for my worgen alt, their heritage could've been at Draenei's level.

I absolutely adored the callbacks to so many characters, too. There are some really deep callbacks at the end.
Like, hell, Kumi'sha the Collector's there! There's that eredar rogue from Dalaran/the rogue order hall. Couple other lost ones who I had to really think back to remember. T'paartos!
This is an absolute love letter to the draenei.
Also, I admit I rarely play with audio on (usually listening to a stream or something) but I did with this and this is the first time I've heard Hatuun talk. I'm like 95% sure that's Scott McNeil voicing him.
Wish I had thought of that then, hah. But working together with others there was kinda fun. Trying to keep mobs alive for as long as possible.
So from what I'm hearing, the Draenei heritage questline is basically just the Orc questline in terms of how much they actually cared about it.
Between mop remix and blizzard repeating that Dorne is near pandaria, I think we could see a content patch in pandaria, or at least some important quest chain there. What could make sense? Isle of thunder? Something related to Yshaarj?

Something Yshaarj related would make the most sense since we know Xal'atath is collecting old god essence. I love the theory that the various versions of wow currently running are exploring her collecting power, and that she'll show up in cata & pandamonium. Its time travel BS, but its fun and out there enough that the cool factor of it makes me not care.
Update
The connecting of each version of wow through the upcoming villian feels like it would also be something you'd come up with when thinking about trying to write something for wow's 20th anniversary. Whats more up Metzen's alley than tying each version of his baby together story wise for an over the top epic reveal? Its similar to the whole "Jailer is responsible for everything" bit that was awful, but this is a much smaller scale story wise, makes enough sense to not be off putting, and is actually being hinted at before hand.

Yeah, it's not just a non-canon thing, there's actually a little bit of story at the start to set it up. Mostly serves as a resolution to the No Limits storyline from earlier in the expansion showing that many more Infinites have ended up rejoining Nozdormu, and how they've found a new role bringing adventurers back to experience past events again and study them. I don't know if there's more than that later on, I just played a little bit on the PTR.
And there's also some Infinite bazaars throughout the continent (I think one in each zone) where you can customize your mounts and spend Bronze to upgrade items and buy skins.

I've only just now realised MoP Remix starts on Friday at 2am my time and now I'm disappointed. I had assumed it goes live on Wednesday with the weekly reset![]()
In the orc questline, far more NPCs have gossip text at the final celebration. It is a bit more limited with the Draenei. But otherwise yeah, it is similar. What the Draenei do get over the orcs is a promise of something far more specific; a new city instead of a revival of the tribes.
