    Dragonflight's renown questing wasn't publicly tested before release, so I'd expect the same here. The rest of alpha will probably be implementing the remaining hero talents and professions along with more dungeon/delve testing, beta will likely be in about a month if they follow a similar timeline to DF's testing.

    Why would they do either of those things when the only difference rn is like 4 hairstyles and a few void colorations. You can already make void elves & blood elves that look identical. Maybe if they did a big Silver Covenant customization blowout with a ton of unique customization for High Elves, but if anything the latest storyline is telling us the pure arcane High Elf population is shrinking even further with any high elves left in the alliance becoming void elves.

    The addition of races and subraces I feel is going to be one of the major features of Midnight. There's so much potential for things they could add, that leaving some off will definitely leave several groups upset.

    In Midnight alone there's potential for High Elves, Amani Trolls, Broken, Naga, and any custom AR they may make (like Harronir). They don't have to add all of these of course, but at some rate, this question regarding High Elves for instance will keep coming up. Some people want to roll High Elves not Void Elves without purple skin, and while that seems minute to a lot of people, it's a big deal to others. But their addition would mean 5 elven races (without the idea of Harronir), and 3 of the same exact build. At what point do they reevaluate the way races work and recatagorize into subraces, etc.

    Again as you said, the code to do this is probably far harder than imagined due to it being a 20 year old game, but it's still a serious consideration.

    They're going to deal with that the same way they made fat Arathi humans in the Alpha: You're going to make a Kul Tiran & RP that its an Arathi human.

    They already gave us all the customization options necessary to remove all the blood or void elf visual indicators: Blonde void elves & Blue eye blood elves was the equivalent to giving humans pointed ears

    At this point the most you can ask for is tattoos. Red for Blood Elves & Blue for Void elves. And to make the RP people happy maybe they should remove the allied race suffix to character's tooltips: Like, instead of Kul Tiran Human it just says Human. Or instead of Void Elf or Blood elf it just says elf.

    I'm also glad we're getting new fantasy civilisations and not just more tribes of low effort shamanistic races like we've been having lately, they end up feeling the same (Highmountain, Tuskarr, Centaur, Tortollian...)

    Hallowfall looks peak to me and I'm super hyped about the main arathi empire, be it as enemies or allies.

    I didn't said we get high elves, i said we get blood elves and void elves for both factions, just because of racial skills. void elves and blood elves have very different racials. Making them neutral, would give each faction access to the others racials. and alliance could use blood elves if they want high elves without the void effects, while the horde can get a shadow race.

    RBG communities are trash and so small they're almost irrelevant, and people don't even play them for fun. We live ina modern online world where rated pvp is solo queueable, even in blizzard games like Overwatch. FF XIV also does the pvp battle pass and is a better experience for those who play it mostly for the cosmetic rewards than having to hit your head against the wall that is rating.

    I was thinking Exodar may fly to QT to be the Alliance hub, but I think neutral SMC (with neutral elves, maybe) and New Shattrath in 14.0 makes more sense. They need to have Kalimdor focus eventually.
