The concern is because its linked to how "cool" the expansion feels as well as it being tradition, and also makes people feel like the dev team is putting less effort into the expansion (instead of just using the art team on anything else)
I'm honestly 50/50 that they will stick to it or not, I think it's a rather easy win if they just reuse some assets of Hallowsfall (though the concern may be that some computers won't be able to run it)

Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

They just switched login screen style from vista/scenery to classical/book cover. Would be nice if we could pick scenery we want for warband screen instead (and expanding it beyond 4 chars). I get that people hate big changes, but calling it low quality is ridiculous. Same with asking for changing login screen every patch.
Imo if they won't change it next few weeks, it will be style for rest of saga. Shattered center will be switched for tentacles and then prison and colours will match logos.
Indifferent. People cry about every single thing no matter how good or bad expansion is.
They literally used collector's edition box cover for login screen https://gear.blizzard.com/products/w...ectors-edition .

how is nobody talking about the state of DH on beta right now lol. last class to receive 0 substantial changes, both hero talents are a complete mess with no VFX, the balancing is horrendous, the gameplay/rotation is the least fun its ever been, and there's just nothing week over week. Pre patch is in like 3 weeks and this class isn't even close to shippable, its very concerning.
and just to address this before someone inevitably brings it up, 10.2 was not a rework. in fact the dev working on it specifically said to not refer to it as a rework. it was mostly focused on shuffling around talents and trimming 2 point nodes to fix pathing issues.
so yeah im pretty doomer about DH right now

its a combination of the latter and the fact that people for some reason just dislike demon hunter. there was a post discussing the state of DH posted on the subreddit and it got downvoted to hell and full of people who dont play the class claiming its fine. the DH discord and feedback threads are completely dooming

DH is just so simple that the audience who doesn't really care that much is much, much bigger than those who do. So they aren't a priority.
Kind of like BM hunter in a way.

its really not man, lol. you use immo aura, vengeful retreat, fel rush, felblade, sigil of flame, eye beam, essence break/glaive tempest, chaos strike, blade dance, and the hunt rotationally, all while lining up micro burst windows and needing heightened positional awareness because of how much you are moving
ur just working on like 3 year old information honestly

So Blizzard revealed a 15m Gorehowl statue in China.
The kicker? It's not "normal" Gorehowl, it's yellow, glows and is called "Lightforged Gorehowl".
(The second image is of the inflatable one they are giving away to people visiting)
Surely that can't be a coincidence?

Its Netease who made the statue as a form of "resurrection" of the old one they smashed.
Could be some secret hint for the future, could also be nothing at all.
