best i could find was the xbox event schedule. which has two events for today "Bethesda MainStream Day 2" and "Xbox Broadcast Day 2". It is probably the later.

The Lore was not that bad, and had many good parts. The story told with that lore is the bad part.

Ehhhhh, disagreed actually. I think the lore introduced in SL also sucked badly. First Ones, Zereths, artificially created Pantheons, blah blah.

The Warcraft Direct thing was going to be "in the next few months" so don't expect that today. They did interviews at a desk with some hosts yesterday so there will probably be something like that today for WoW. No clue what to expect (if anything), might just be re-iterating what they mentioned during the opening night ceremony.

Depends what Warcraft Direct even is. If it's like 9.2/10.2/Dragonflight pre-recorded thing then meh. If it's mini panel like WoD cinematic reveal and Legion expac on Gamescoms, call me hyped.

From blue post announcing no Blizzcon in 2024: "And we’re thrilled to be planning multiple, global, in-person events to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Warcraft, which will be held in addition to the in-game celebrations across our Warcraft games throughout 2024." So there is hope Warcraft Direct is exactly that.

No allied race was ever locked behind raids. It is usually story quests and reputation. With TWW i guess only story.

Yeah, it's not gated to the raid, but there is a "campaign completed" condition and most campaign final chapters require at least an LFR (or now the story mode) kill on the raid final boss.

Has anyone confirmed if you can unlock Earthen today, or is it gated to Ansurek kills?

Currently, no one knows. Broken Tools is one of the Quests required to unlock Earthen & it's still not in the game. We don't know it that means they're encrypting it for some reason or comes with the opening of the season. But it's apparently in the Ringing Deeps meta achievement so here's hoping we can unlock them this weekend.

The War Within campaign achievement doesn't require beating the Nerubian Raid. The climax of the campaign is destroying the machine that creates Skardyn.
