I played only 90% of Ringing Deeps and notice that aside of one or two mentions I haven't seen any samesex pairs. But normal, i mean hetero pair is all around. Fresh air from all that DF gay side quests.
Another bunch of quest about replacing male with female characters, but that was quite goody written to complain. And ofc trend about stupid and weak male characters and strong and clever females are continuing, but not like in ESO, where its like 5-6 times in every location.

On the side note - Dagran is little too good in everything. Too clever, too wise. He is a kid, he must behave like one. He is not Khadgar after all.

Quests are good, story is believable, zones are great. Music is awesome. What else do any fan want?

Seen a lot of comments on the music and I agree, can't remember the last time the entire music suite was this good. WoD?

Dornic and Galen are both Watchers. I have not seen the name of the Keeper yet. Maybe I should check the play. Been ignoring it seeing as it doesnt actually give anything.

Merrix is interesting, even if the questline feels a bit rushed in going straight from barely knowing him, to him having a secret identity. Maybe if there were more quests with him before then to get a grasp on whether he is usually this laid back, or if he puts up an act.
From what I recall we only interract with him once during the main questline.

If those are the watchers, I am fairly sure the keeper is Archaedas. Can't confirm as I haven't seen the play in a while but I think he gets namedropped.

Who got the idea of making a Skyriding Race in Dornogal? Got gold in all races but I cannot even achieve gold in the basic circuit. There is just too many players there I guess and the game lags badly. Well, I will get it when Midnight is live

BTW we are definitively getting a "Life" patch zone. Guess that the Harronir one. I have done all of the Isle of Dorn and a tiny part of the Ringing Deeps, but the theme of "Life" is consistent, and I bet that it will only increase as I keep questing through the rest of the expansion.
Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive.

He is being groomed to be the King of all Dwarves for 16 years now. Child monarchs tend to be like this, if anything he is more playful than expected.

Man, Kobolds are great. Easily the best part of the Ringing Deeps.
I suppose there might have been the fear of oversaturation, but I never understood why the developers would create Niffen in Zaralek, rather than expand on the Kobolds. Everything about them is just gold.
Also, the Darkness is legitimately a freaky jumpscare in that dungeon, even if you know it's coming.

Yes, esp small one from bug fights. Easily best one from them. So sarcastic to stupid earthen from Fearbreaker sidequest.

    Fog monsters too
They seem peaceful, teleport characters away, guarding their nest. And ofc questchain has open end - with remark that we don't know anything "for now". What is it as not cliffhanger for future patch content? And in a place close to Harronir in neighboring zone, right one mountain from it.

Also waterworks falls comes from above, with gameplay barrier shielding way to the top. I saw light from here, but not into the surface. So We should expect different zone entry in Ringing Deeps, Aj-Kahet and Hallowfall. And it located between Ringing Deeps and Isle of Dorn

I think Kezan will open up next to Opportunity Point (or a portal to it) and Rootlands will open up somewhere on that western path between Hallowsfall and Azjkahet.

A big hint towards Kezan is that there is an dwarf elevator at Opportunity Point but, AFAIK, no way to open it yet.

Really hope we do go to Kezan this expansion. It's an easy W from Blizzard since who doesn't love Goblins? Well, i'm sure there are people who don't like them but they are essential WoW and would make Horde players happy. I love Goblins. They are great counterpart to Dwarves.

I surprisingly enjoyed Ringing Deeps more than Hallowfall. The Dwarven aesthetic is so well done. The vibe, to the music and the kobolds... You really feel like you are underground in the earth with these ancient Earthen facilities. I'm sorry, I just can't take Faerin seriously. It just reminds me of something from a new Star Wars show in Disney.

I hope that Kezan will not be another megadungeon with Rootlands 11.1 patch. Its high probability, assuming there is multiple ways on top all underground zones into some "Life" zone but for goblins like 1 Opportunity Point?

Finished today the level up campaign, sitting at level 76 currently. I liked the story overall. It had a few weak or weird moments, but overall I liked it.

The story doesn’t really deal with the radiant song stuff yet. But I enjoyed the hallowfall part and I really think now that the radiant song is from the beledar. Will continue with the hallowfall side quests next time, but I think they will keep it for later. It was interesting that Anduin mentioned he would like to have Khadgar here to understand it. So there is my speculation that Khadgar will return with the Beledar arc, in whatever way that is.

And he's very much not prepared for combat situations. Which is quite an issue given where he is.

There's also the Freysworn- a whole faction of Earthen Druids, probably closely tied to Freya (based on the name at least), that are just kind of there and barely acknowledged so far. And you can't check it in the live game until Earthen release, but iirc from beta the Heritage set names suggest that they have their own settlement that we haven't seen yet. IIRC there were colors for Dornogal, Gundargaz, and "Freywold".

Both they and the Harronir are too interesting to not follow up on.

I could see them adding earthen druids alongside the harronir for the roots patch!

I could see that, it would be very weird to me to not include Earthen Druids given the Freysworn exist. Their Druid forms could be interesting.

There is the Frey-something town we visit at the start of levelling. And we are told what the Freysworn are, in that they were given a directive from Freya that predates the rest of the Khaz Algar Earthen directives.

Oh, that is Freywold. I have no idea how I missed that, must have forgotten the name entirely.

Still think they should be fleshed out more in general though. Freya was also involved in protecting the roots of Elun'ahir, so their directive could have something to do with that.

I too preferred The Ringing Deeps to Hallowfall. It’s a fantastic zone.

I went into this expansion expecting Hallowfall to be my clear favourite, and whilst it’s brilliant I actually much prefer The Ringing Deeps and the Isle of Dorn; two zones I didn’t think I’d care for.

The Ringing Deeps is one of the best zones in the entire game in my opinion and Dornogal is possibly the best expansion capital added. It’s up there with Boralus.

Getting amazing Dwarven/Earthen architecture is such a nice treat from the standard human and elf stuff. Gonna really miss it once Midnight comes along.
