This disparity also caused mixed-level groups to experience skewed results, with lower-level players contributing drastically more than level 80s. Tomorrow, Wednesday, August 28, we’re going to apply hotfixes to the game to address this.

The hotfixes will adjust the scaling of enemies in War Within leveling content to increase the power of lower-level enemies, bringing the duration of combat more in line with expected WoW behavior. These changes will be most noticeable at level 70, and will have a reduced impact as your level increases. Enemies at level 80 and above will be unchanged.

Again, we’ll make these changes tomorrow, August 28.

    Thank you!

So, some of the immediate talking points:

    • This solves a problem nobody had
    • This change punishes poor people who didn't purchase Early Access
    • This change punishes players who grinded the hardest content for the best gear, therefore losing the advantage Kaivax mentioned
    • "fun detected"
    • Pointless change, serves to make you play the game longer
We already talked about that yesterday :X ^^

Dont know if its been mentioned and I missed it, but there is a raid portal next to the Stonevault entrance suggesting a Dwarven raid next.

I'm OK with the change, but they should improve the new gear from the quests a bit to counteract this.

I wonder why the mythic weapons from the new raid have a black/silver colouring? Recent history has the mythic colouration of weapons being "canonically accurate" to the main theme of the raid (Vault had the Air/Lightning weapons/gear = Raszageth, Aberrus had Shadow/Void (it's more shadow tbh?) = Deathwing's corruption/Old God influence, Amirdrassil had Shadowflame weapons = Fyrakk's empowerment in Zaralekk).

Following this logic, the weapons from the nerubian raid should be void-blue/gold given that's the colouration of the void ascended nerubians (you can see it on the Queens model). But this colouration is used on the normal version of the weapons.
I wonder if this means there's an empowerment besides/beyond the blue-void we see?

If I'm remembering right, that portal is used for the finale questline of Ringing Deeps and will probably be used for the Earthen unlock. It contains the Awakening machine.

That is definitely not the consensus, feel free to use the existing thread here, though!

    There is no raid.

The portal to the left is the entrance to the Hall of Awakening.
You walk into it for the campaign.

You say that, but I honestly don't think that is really the case. Personally I find that NM tends to be the "canon" variant, and Mythic tends to be the "evil" variant, with void themings for instance.

And of course then you have Evokers. Currently the unquestionable "canon" variant of the Deathwing set is from HC. During Amirdrassil the correct tint to the theme was from Elite PvP.

Well, my theory is nearly confirmed. Today i could start the "the call of the worldsoul" quest with where you choose what you do this week, i choose worldquests and Faerin told me: "Do you also hear Beledar's song? Our deeds give it strength!". Faerin directly confirms with this that, at least for the Arathi, the radiant song is from Beledar. This combined with Anduins radiant song vision upon entering Hallowfall, and his remarks about the Radiant Remants being similar to Azerite is too on the nose to be a coincidence. The radiant song comes from the Beledar.

It was already established Faerin thinks the radiant song comes from Beledar. And that Anduin thinks she's wrong. The Radient Echos come, demonstrably, from Azeroth so I doubt that the Radient Song is unrelated. Faerin thinks the song comes from Beledar, but everyone else thinks it comes from the worldsoul. Faerin doesn't even know worldsouls exist.

A quest in the Skeins of Azj'Kahet (might require rep with the Weaver) seems to further imply something life themed further inside the caves. Specifically an old Nerubian drawing of a giant flower in a cave. Sounds like exactly the kind of thing that would be a focal point of a future patch.

Also. I don't know if it was known already. But I do enjoy the backstory of the Kaheti Nerubians of specifically leaving Northrend to escape the Old Gods. And not just that Neferess went against the Black Empire emissary because.

@Marlamin any clues about future patch zones?

Literally spoke about yesterday and the day before.

Orwenya pretty much tells you the biggest clue what is without telling you exactly what it is.

The fact there's renegade Druids operating so deep down below the surface is a clue in itself.

Faerin confirms that she thinks the song comes from Beledar. That's all. It's perfectly possible she's just wrong.

Blizzard still hasn’t added the ensembles or arsenals for the Dragonflight PvP sets.

Each expansion they push them back a little further, I wonder why that is.

They did for the open world pvp sets, and they also added the vicious mounts already. Either they forgot or want to keep the sets a bit longer prestigious 'till the next big patch / season.
