    What's everyone's Bingo Cards - WoW/Classic-wise?

Mine (not super original, I know!!):

    - WoW on Xbox (maybe PS as well???)
    - 11.1 reveal/tease
    - MoP Classic
    - New Class SPEC(s) (Shaman Tank, etc.)
    - Next Remix (people saying Legion, but I'm thinking WoD)
    - WoW series on Paramount+ (don't they have beef with Netflix??)
    - Karazhan Crypts raid/Gilneas zone-raid for SoD (come on Blizz, TWOW has had this for years! and I don't even play on pservers)
    - I KNOW I MIGHT BE THE ONLY ONE, BUT, Midnight teaser, maaaaybeee??

I'm on EU Region, Btag Foulis#2823 if you wanna add me <333

I mean, how cool would it be if WoW felt that open to new features? If ANY patch could be one that introduces something new and exciting.

I won’t go into my tin foil hat, picture board with string pinned connected ‘evidence’, but I think there’s a chance!

If the announcement is SO BIG, so I'm more confident in predicting WoW for consoles. But I doubt in 1:1 port. I except that this will provide special console servers and many gameplay changes with some gameplay simplification, less abilities (or based on combos so some kind of non-linear auto-rotation), but more focused on skillshots and there will be non-target system. Could be tricky for healers though. And ofc definitely distinct balance from PC retail.

Still pretty brave prediction, I know, so I will add that I wishlist for Ogre allied race as well.

I'm surprised at people's reluctance to see any hints of Midnight.

I think we'll clearly get some concept art of Silvermoon or something.

"As our heroes journey under the surface of Azeroth, hunting down Xal'atath and the allies she has bargained with, the team has been hard at work on what will come next with the Midnight expansion. What exactly that is, you will hear following the conclusion of The War Within; but for now, we are happy to share glimpses at the beginnings of a rebuilt Silvermoon City."

6 slides of concept art set to Eversong Woods music.

That, or a glimpse at an ingame version of the updated Silvermoon.

I fully expect this, with how their new development has been said to work. TWW is probably better received than they expected, but they are still going to want to show HD Eversong as soon as possible.

    WoW on consoles, but why?

If that’s the big feature/surprise it’s a swing and miss imo.

Will console play be used? Yes of course, will it bring new/more people to WoW, some at least.

But it’s not an improved way to play, more an accessible way to play, which is good, don’t get me wrong, let more people play and have access to WoW is great, it just does little to improve the game.

We’ll just have more DPS in console mode, unable to engage with their full kit as conveniently, making healers around the world cry as fewer people interrupt or used defensive ha.

Who knows, maybe console controller mapping could be intuitive enough to feel more efficient/convenient, but I’ll remain doubtful until/if experienced.

I think the idea is more players = more revenue/popularity = more resources put on WoW that go towards making the game better. But that's in a perfect world.

Yeaaaaaa my hot take here is that I don't think porting to consoles is a great idea.

TWW has been very well received, but is also known to be suuuuper buggy. I can't imagine announcing a brand new port to consoles will be as well received.

Didn't they already say that they're just working on the features for Midnight rn, and that the zones are mostly done?

TLT is the expansion that's still in the early development stages, with concept art being made for it last November.

If I use my massive brain and take a Nintendo direct or a Pokémon direct as an example.
    We can expect
5 mins of talking for rumble
10 mins of talking an teasing the new sets for next year of hearthstone
15 mins of Warcraft with the remastered announced
5 min talks about classic wow
5 mins of 11.1 showing off some stuff
And the last 5 mins for the big surprise.
An then at the end they show off the starters for Pokémon Z-A

FFXIV has plenty of jobs with plenty of buttons to press. If they can make a controller layout work there's no real reason to do anything other than steal the general premise for WoW.

Basically the 8 face buttons with four shoulder combos to act as variations of shift or alt gives you 36 different buttons you can hit at any given time. That's plenty of options, especially if you use macros.

IF console play is the big surprise, I’m just envisioning all this hype/excitement boiling down to, “you all have consoles right?!?”

Do we really need that, again, but for WoW this time?? Ha

Console announcement would certainly be some big news but I also don't think it'd be that big. For the vast majority of those that play on PC, they'd remain there, I'm sure. So it'd have a real "ok so what's in it for me?" feel.

Dunno, WoW is now having put in more resources than ever, with multiple modes, frequent patches with more content than ever and extra game modes like Plunderstorm/Remix.
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

If it's a preview for Midnight or an announcement of a series or an old world revamp, I think that would make a lot of people more happy.

Console crowd is still MASSIVE; this would most definitely bring in more players into the game.

Very much so. And WoW doesn't exactly demand a ton of resources, so it isn't that hard (nor expensive) to find a PC that can run it. Most console players probably have a PC of some sort around even if they don't use it primarily for games. The biggest barrier to a console version of WoW is how mandatory most add-ons are for QoL (or even just for efficacy like DBM and Recount). Unless they also announce they are baking in a bunch of features currently only provided by add-ons (which would actually be pretty significant news) I can't see people being that excited for a console port.

I would certainly be disappointed if the nudge nudge special announcement wink wink is just a console port.
Except for the fraction of console players in the playerbase, most people aren't gonna be affected by it.

I hope its an actual piece of content.
