I think it'll be the symbol for housing, but others have pointed out the rune is on a pennant that is actually the worldmap & the rune itself is covering Northrend.

I hope that there's both free housing as well as more extravagant plots of land you can get, hopefully with ingame gold as well. And I really hope they don't feel restricted by lore on this: let us settle in Revendreth and such.
A plot on Macaree with the broken skybox above would be amazing. Or Bastion, hell even Elunaria would be cool.

If it's just running for a few months it'll be fine, it had some solid content that was just released at a really terrible rate, and other than Highmaul BRF and HFC were pretty interesting raids.
Though I'm definitely down for more content. I'm curious what they'd do with the garrison since it was so important but also such a problem.

I imagine we will have to wait a while fo stuff like that. My guess is that they will start with the most basic of houses, and start by focusing only on what cosmetics you can farm.
Once the feature is properly settled in and everyone knows it, they might start adding different plots.
The world revamp dream will never die!
Earlier this year they added a bunch of entirely new & currently unobtainable recolors of TBC gear, so BC Remix is also a good guess.
I could see them do a WoD remix in order to have even more experimental features. MoP Remix was mostly just about massive stats and raid when levelling after all. So I could see Remix having a greater focus on extra abilities or whatever.
In that case WoD would be better as it would be shorter in case it doesnt work out. And they don't burn the easy goodwillk that comes from Legion Remix.

Didnt that just get added to the TBC Timewalking vendor?
The world revamp dream will never die!

Ion mentioned races in the Taliesin interview for the D.R.I.V.E system
I think that if it were to be BC Remix, I'd really hope that some of the armor gets a serious HD overhaul like the Tier 2 sets. Those are gonna take some effort to work into a set with modern gear.
BC would make sense. Introduction of Elves and Draenei, Quel'thalas, Dimensius and the Ethereals... serious interplanetary destruction vibes.
Buuuut Legion provides a lot more content, has some more recent Elven struggles with a demanding power, and a whole lot of Void themes.
Could go either way. As a Nightborne main... gimme Legion.

If it's new experimental thing, it could be PVP content connected to Draenor Colliseum.
So in general it could be many things (housing, WoD/Legion Remix, unknown) and it's coming year from now, so I guess further discussion about it won't be really fruitful.
Look at whole WoW picture. TBC Classic and TBC Remix at same time make no sense.

WoD remix feels like it'd be a good kinda prep for Midnight, especially if the AU-Draenei are invovled at all (not to start another debate about that, just sayin').
Anyway, interview with Taliesin and Evitel:
-No flying in Undermine at all.
-Player housing will be a system that feels social unlike the isolated garrisons.
-Housing will not have a player power feature.
-Teaser had stormwid themed but won't be the only option.
-Cartels in Undermine like the pacts in Azj-kahet. No player power involved.
-Confirmation of scrapping seasonal companions for delves. Midnight will have a new companion though (so confirmation for sure of delves there)
-Mega-dungeons aren't off the table for TWW (so yeah confirmation that at least right now, nothing)
-They felt it was too formulaic for x.1 patches to always have a mega-dungeon.
I agree in some senses. They did just do MoP Remix preceding MoP Classic, and a big argument for it not being invalid is the class design and gameplay that the Classic experience delivers. I could see this being the same for TBC.
But I mostly agree. I don't think TBC Remix provides... enough. They'd need to add in a lot more.

I.. really appreciate the way they're unafraid to change things up lately. I think 2 new dungeons serves the purpose of TWW better than a megadungeon would, and I'm glad they opted for this rather than pushing to make it work.

Same, and also honestly while neat, the mega-dungeons exist for what, all of a single (major) patch before being split up for heroics anyway, right? Plus lets them have some more variety too.
Also I like Undermine not allowing flying mounts. I love skyriding (far more than I ever expected I would) but I do miss the ground mounts from time to time.

I like that some zones are no flying IF they are eventually flyable without pointless grinds. In Undermine it will make sense during 11.1 with whole need for speed system, but when we move to 11.1.5 (or at least 11.2), it should be introduced for everyone.
I think the Undermine no flying mounts situation kind of applies to them being unafraid in their apporhac as well, but in a different light. They're not afraid to try something in small doses to test the waters. Instead of giving us an entire Midnight expansion with no flying mounts and dynamic ground mounts, we're testing it out in a zone that utilizes it intelligently as a feature. Worldbuilding wise, it is a massive win. The potential for a new style of ground mounts and some flight restricted areas? Also a win in my opinion.

Ion also mentioned races with the D.R.I.V.E system. So, it seems there won't just be timed quests or so, but potentially actual race tracks or races on the roads?

Ngl, also makes sense considering the Undermine is an underground city, so you kinda don't want to ram a plane or a dragon through there lol
