mrgm posted a pic that says the ptr is coming early next year

I've only skimmed the summary so far but it sounds like they're making a big change to set bonuses this time.
2-piece bonuses are shared across entire roles, and only the 4-piece bonuses will be unique for each spec.
i like these sets, warrior reminds me of the one pvp set from WoD, rogue gets all on pirate which makes sense with blackwater cartel. druid seems drusty/kul tiran, makes senes with siren isle being somewhat relevant i guess. Priest, is hard to tell, the female forsaken model is not the best to showcase, but give it another color and i think it is arathi themed. The last set is mage, from the hand pose of the character, seems to be Vyranoth themed? strange choice.
as for other parts of the wowcast:
It is interesting what they do with brann. A tank that uses a one handed gun. Not sure if this gives the survey leak some more credibility for the gunner/gunslinger, but brann also calling down a mech, might be a overall testing bed for a few of the survey ideas (gunner/gunslinger/artificer/tinker)
And also interesting that they use music as a theme for one of the raid bosses. More testing for bard?
This was something I noticed as well. A lot of the mechanics here happen to line up with the survey. I felt it was coincidental with the themes until the DJ boss. It's still a bummer to see all of this tech stuff with no Tinker class yet.
Something else I noted was that a lot of the voidy stuff in Excavation Site 9 and the black blood areas is very N'Zoth looking, whatever that may indicate.

Nice to see more parts of the zone(s) but virtually nothing we didn't already know, a bit disappointed. A LOT of cool mounts and I'm digging the transmog at least.
Looks like there is a fifth cartel which is a secret, that's at least pretty cool. I'm assuming Darkfuse/Blackfuse?
Also I think they are implying Gallywix has a Mimiron mech which will be very funny.
See, you did that thing where you all hyped yourselves into thinking there was a real chance of them doing something they've never done before & made no sense from a marketting perspective ie: the addition of a new class mid expansion and now you're all feeling disappointed for something you were never going to get. We already know about Tinkers in Azeroth & there will be more in Undermine but that doesn't matter. We might get them in TLT but this feeling of disappointment is your own fault.

lolwut?
Projecting or just ASSuming?
We’ve learned VERY little so far, I wouldn’t say we have concrete evidence one way or the other. I’m simply saying that it feels insane to be heading to undermine and not having Tinkers feels like a huge miss. Could Blizzard still surprise us, absolutely, this could be setting the stage, or not, we don’t know!
Am I disappointed? Sure? But I have been since we got Monks ha! This is just icing on the cake.
As silly as you seem to find my perspective, I find yours down right ignorant, to think that Blizzard isn't willing to break norms, despite doing so multiple times over the course of Dragonflight… keep up.
I just hope this is a sign of the artists being a bit more creative with what theme the set appearances have. Not every DK set needs to have giant skulls, and not every Mage set needs to be classic fantasy mage/Kirin Tor.
Lots of cool ideas for sets that get ignored. I know the artists don't want to be too limited, but there has to be a middle ground.
Also very curious what Evokers will get. All the sets so far bar the Aberrus one has been designed specifically after a famous dragon. Maybe a Kalecgos or Ysera one next.
The world revamp dream will never die!

Hobgoblins seem to be using Kul Tiran animations now, so maybe they are going to be the patch AR.
Also the T-Rex robot mount seems to be a brand new animation rig. Devilsaur mounts coming up in the Rootlands maybe? Would fit with their caveman vibe.

If we'rte given Hobgoblins before Ogres, I think forusm would riot.
I hadn't considered we'd definitely4 be getting an AR each patch; I know this was the case in the past so I wonder... does having a race as an Allied Race opposed to a New Race imply that there will be one per patch in the expansion?

I think more people would be angry if we got Mok'nathal/Ogre and they reused animations, so Hobgoblin coming first with reused animations would make sense to me.
I don't think AR means one per patch, but we are likely getting Haranir and we got one at launch. Also maybe the secret cartel is Hobgoblin related? I will definitely be on the lookout for their new models and if they are getting females too (or its like dracthyr and they all look the same)
