Ah, I was blaming myself for misunderstanding what they meant, but fair enough.

Yeah, but that's kinda my point, yeah? Because they're not in the Life and Death spheres, the Shadowlands sphere likely ain't meaning the Domain of Death entire. And based off Chronicles description of the Shadowlands, I'm likely correct in thinking that way.
"Everywhere we've ever seen or has ever been referenced exists in the Dream, the material plane, and the shadowlands."
Prior to 9.0 and 10.2, we knew fuck all about the greater domains of Life and Death. With the knowledge given to us from SL and DF, we now know that there's a greater Domain of Death beyond the Veil displayed on Azeroth, and we know there's a greater Domain of Life beyond the Emerald Dream. Heck, there is likely more to the Dream beyond what's displayed on Azeroth. Granted, that implications been a thing for a long time now.

And I'm aware of the ordeal regarding Argus' worldsoul. I wasn't talking about the Worldsoul though, I was talking about the planet that housed the Worldsoul. What I said in the post you quoted was poorly worded in that regard. My fault.
When are they going to explain what the Keepers are doing. Like, where TF is Tyr?
I love the goblin machines being powered by Old God blood. I do hope to see some horrific mechanical transformations of machines like mechsuits and robots owing to this.
I had my own prediction of how an Old God might return. It would make this expansion pretty much perfect for me.

GIven the stuff that's come up about them all being bound by edicts and the Earthen we have only breaking out of it thanks to Azeroth (Very much jumpstarted in the campaign), he's probably still bound by edicts
I'd imagine we'll bump into him in Northrend as he's probably gone up there to reuinte with the Ulduar crew, given the dragons are pretty self sufficient and he just wants to observe. May have also gone off to Ulduaman to check up how that's all going, especially with Archaedas being the one who was supposed to look after the Earthen

I don't know about them returning as cyborgs, but I still expect that we'll see the true Hour of Twilight leading into Midnight. Most descriptions of that involve the Old Gods escaping from their prisons and returning to corrupt Azeroth.
So maybe they'll be brought back, or maybe it'll be treated as them accomplishing this posthumously because Xal'atath uses their blood and power.
“But this isn’t the end. I promise you, this is not the end, and we have to regroup and we have to continue to fight and continue to work day in and day out to create the better society for our children, for this world, for this country, that we know is possible.” ~~Jon Stewart
No.
That's not what I think at all, or even said. I was speaking in reference to Old God blood being used to fuel goblin machines and giving the Old Gods "new life" through technology, or even cyborg Old Gods à la Mecha'thun being silly.

That's what I'm expecting, or rather hoping, but Blizzard seems keen on moving past the Old Gods as the prime representation of the Void. We had years of vague lore about how the Old Gods do not "truly die" and all that, but the lore is way more fleshed out now than it has ever been... and the most recent expansion has agents of the Void itself proclaiming that the Old Gods are dead.
So... here is to hoping!

When do you think the 11.1 PTR will arrive?

I think the only Old God that will return is N'zoth and he may ally with us against Azshara, unironically.
Unsure what his endgame would be but it would be a nice twist if he is allowed to live and have some Black Empire conclave on Azeroth. I think we may be getting a friendly BE area anyway per the hints in DF. I think we should have at least some friendly void beings (somehow) and the Etherals and Void Elves (forcibly transformed both times, Etherals are more arcane) don't count.

What if Xal'Atath tries to use the goblin technology in order to infect the titanic protocols with a void virus.
Looking forward to the banter (if there will be any) between Odyn and Iridikron. Such polar opposites on the spectrum of moral belief when it comes to Azeroth.

Would be an interesting development and I can see something akin to this happening. Xal'atath "working with" Gallywix while she perfects a strain of the Void, through the Black Blood of the Old Gods, that she can use to not only infect titanic creations but turn them to the Void's cause.
We've seen it happen to Highkeeper Ra (RIP my boy) and even the skardyn.

You know, Pyromancer always muses that the Old Gods are not Void aligned, but it's most him wishful-conspiracy-theorycrafting. He figures the Old Gods more like corrupted Life, and while they are Void in nature they are not totally aligned with it.
Not saying I believe any of this but it would interesting if N'Zoth ended up returned and being some form of chaotic neutral.
