I really, really like Undermine. Did not expect to enjoy the zone this much. It feels very different to what we normally get which is probably why I find it this fun. This patch might actually make me like Goblins

Ok, yeah, it might be a lil too fast. Some tweaking is needed as well lol. Outside of that? I love this car LMAO

I gotta say, you really only need the grip upgrade. Once you get the drifting down, everything else is nice. Just keep everything average outside of your grip, and you're set.

Pack Leader seems great indeed, Howl of the Pack Leader is the visual change it needed.

Marksmanship changes are very underwhelming imo. Can't see the eagle almost. It should be around the player more and more active.

Ngl, everything is fine, but they need to make the acceleration, speed boost, and top speed stuff actually...well...worth it. Cause rn, they're kinda worthless. Averaqe all around + increased grip = PEAK EXPERIENCE!

    - - - Updated - - -

Honestly, if they decrease the base-speed a small bit, the acceleration amp and the top speed amp would be useful asf
Cause the average speed feels like what the top speed amp should be.

She was the leader of the Six at one point, studied there unter Antonidas, and has overall a very close relationship with them. Why shouldn't she support it?

    Or as a comparison:

Arthas was a Knight of the Silver Hand AND the Crown Prince of Lordaeron.
Tess Greymane was a Uncrowned and the Princes of Gilneas.
Malfurion was the leader of the Cenarion Circle and Leader of the Nightelves.

People can be part of more than one organization

The most powerful mage on Azeroth speaks about restoring the most powerful organization of mortal mages on Azeroth. This is confusing to you?

Flameshaper remains the worst Evoker hero talent tree.
The spotter eagle is definitely underwhelming. Honestly makes me thing they added it just as a way to soothe the players who might still want a pet. Could just as easily have made MM entirely without pets and we wouldn't have lost anything.

Will definitely have to play a bit more around with the mechanics to see if there are still changes to MM the spec lacks. Though at least it is now firmly a spec that doesn't need to think about whether to use a pet or not, which should make it easier to balance in open world content.

Ok, I'm sorry but so far the drive car looks .... not good.

1st, why isn't it a mount?! I know you can easily fix this via addons, but they really need to add it to the journal default wise.

2nd, and I pray they fix it, but that thing creates worse motion sickness than dragonflight beta dragonflying :/

Lets hope "dynamic ground mounts" are more like dragonriding than whatever this "feature" ended up be.

Imagine having to "balance" things for open world content. Hint, you don't have to, lol.

Because she never left the Kirin Tor. And that's precisely the point of what Khadgar said, the new Kirin Tor isn't the same as the old Dalaran-based council-ruled Kirin Tor. No, it's just an organizaton of mages.

So the Dalaran government & the Kirin Tor are officially two different things... Honestly the Silver Covenant & Sunreavers are making even less sense when you think about how they're citizens of Dalaran, but not the actual residential villages back in silverpine, just the flying city, which is essentially a strip mall. I guess that's why they're all going back to Silvermoon next expansion allegedly.

I haven't done the questline yet, do they confirm the status of the rest of the six besides Modera, Aethas and Khadgar?

It's funny that they (Blizz) kick out Jaina and Kalec because they have stuff to do, but then bring them back for this questline because not enough people care about the actual council. I'm interested in what they are going to do with the Kirin Tor in lore now but I do wonder why they dealt Dalaran of all societies a bad hand here.

I'm guessing it's partly because they were worried Dalaran's existence whitewashed all the different racial mages?

Just check https://www.wowhead.com/news/fate-of...r-title-359897 if you are bothered.

    It's a pretty short questline.

i tested drive for a bit. i think if you modify your car for top speed + max boost speed the car is just uncontrollably fast. having slower boost and more grip on drifting seems like the way to go when you're driving around the city

overall i like it. im not sure if it's a good candidate to be ported over universally like dragonriding was. theyd have to go thru and clean up basically every zone in the game because the car will get stuck on small geometries like fence posts and small rocks. I definitely enjoy it though and i think it will be fun for 11.1

I find it interesting they bothered to make a new eel model for Undermine when they aren't even prevalent. Maybe another nod to an underwater area coming soon?

might be a new story for one of the existing underwater delves, they mentioned each of the existing delves will get a new goblin themed story

yeah the fact that they designed this zone presumable alongside DRIVE and yet still it is so easy to get stuck on tiny doodads makes me feel this cannot really be ported.

we have potential for a underwater expansion of Hallowfall, and Midnight will likely include Naga and thus also likely a underwater zone of some kind.

Yeah, Silver Covenant and the Sunreavers are pretty much homeless. They are even walking around in Dornogal quite alot.

Won't spoil, but Blizzard actually delivered a pretty solid story of why perhaps Dalaran and the entire Kirin Tor was the best choice in the first place.
