Why not both? Short of a complete expansion rewrite it looks like we're locked into Haranir.
Though I think they will also unlock Earthen Druids at the same time because of the Freysworn, so both ARs get druids with fun forms. We may not get new druids for a while after anyway, unless they do the ultimate troll pick (no pun intended) Belf druids.

Lets goooooooooo Keystone Legend mount <3

I don't get the hype around playable Ethereals. Like, what customization options would they have, masks? They have no faces. Being a Void-affiliated race? We already have the Void elves. Now, if they'd somehow reverted back to their former looks and civilization, which is based on pre-islamic arabia, with some current ethereal cosmetics, like bandages and technology, then maybe they'd have some appeal. Currently, they're more sci-fi than fantasy.
We have already seen different types of customization for the new ethereal models
just for the face:
You can see here more customizations:

What's the issue as long as there's a vaguely similar number of iterations? A bunch of the races only have like ~10 categories for customization.
-Body Wrapping arrangement
-Wrapping style (brand new cloth, worn, dirty, etc.)
-Wrapping Color (potentially two options with an adjustable strength like Dracthyr's wing coloration effect)
-Head wrappings (as above, or even split into a facial arrangement and head style for pseudo hair)
-Individual limb wrapping (similar to how Earthen can choose different crystal arrangements per limb, potentially split into four different options)
-Energy style (smokey, tendrils, fiery, solid glow etc.)
-Energy Color (as above, potentially two options you can gradient between)
-Energy diffusion (leaking energy from various limbs, contained etc.)
-Energy Brightness (a few levels to adjust how dim or bright the effect is)
-Necklace (see: Elf races)
-Bangles/Anklets (like Dracthyr)
-Jewelry color
I don't get the hype for ethereals either....they have some cool armour on the NPCs but that's the only interesting thing about them. If they were playable they'd be covered up with regular armour anyway unless they go the dracthyr route of barbershop clothes
So, some thoughts about last nights build:
- Raid renown is (sadly) Evergreen, I understand why they do it but on the other hand, I really hoped they would reward people playing the raid DURING a season.
- Seems like they intend to give us most recolours of the goblin mounts within the patch which is a lot better than the drip feeding we had during Dragonflight. I think only the red/blue HD rocket are missing so far? (and tbh, with these I would like it to make them available instead of giving people the TCG versions for free)
- Chinese mounts and the blue panda pet are now within the data, listed as "promotion". Hopefully they add them to the trading post or make it available elsewhere, chinese region only rewards are shit (although the netease contract may actually forbid them to add it to eu/us? not sure on that tbh).
- Finally a Keystone Legend Mount (so basically "Gladiator" equivalent, even though it's still quite easier to get 2850 compared to 2,4k in 3s) for M+ players. I'm now also wondering if we may get the light and void earthen suit for season 3, since they could use one for 2k and one for the 2850 achievement.

Caring about facial expressions is wild when I would bet most players wear a helmet at all times.

Really excited to see that raid renown is planned to stick around. I think there's a lot of potential for "unlocking" things in future zones through the raid-imagine if you could turn multiple new zones into "cities" with amenities just by running the raid casually over the weeks. You could make your home base Undermine, or Rootlands, or Zul'aman etc. And free raid portals across Azeroth just by consistently raiding.
I hope they retroactively add a track to Nerub'ar as it would be nice to make the City of Threads a proper city and there are a lot of unused nerubian mounts in the files.

Evil only wins when it spreads. It can cause destruction, it can cause death—but those are consequences of its nature, not its victory. Not its goal. The danger of evil, the purpose of evil, is that it causes those who would oppose it to become evil also.
