Man, the Season 2 splash screen showing a goblin piloting a mech for "Delve Developments" makes me grit my teeth ha! Also makes me wonder just how committed to Gazlowe being the new delve companion they were*, and since they went with Brann, simply changed the splash art, changing his outfit and giving him wide brim hat... Like who the fudge is this guy?!?

I want to be that guy.... I want to pilot a combat mech.... but alas, we'll see what the future brings!

I don't know if Gazlowe would've been the delve companion. He's too important to the story, but I think it would still work to allow him to do both. That said, we do know who the Goblin in the mech is.

He's called the Underpin, and the whole thing is that he's stolen Brann's hat. He's the Zek'vir of 11.1.

    Illuminating, makes since.

I supposed that the delve challenge would have a more unique model like bosses do, but I guess the season one bug, Zek’vir, isn’t anything totally unique either. Same model as first raid boss yeh?

Not that I expected any real serious reason for the new boss guy but...well I can't wait for this patch to be over.

I think there are multiple mobs with his model, so yeah.

The Undermine story is fairly tragic. I wouldn't consider it unserious. The Underpin . .. yeah.

I have actually kept myself relatively unaware of what happens in the story, so that gives me some hope. I'm just really not a fan of goblins in general. But if I'm proven wrong, I'll happily eat crow.

Still, I can't wait for whatever waits beyond this patch.

It has a decent amount of world building and silliness is only incidental; the core of the story is pretty damn sad. It is barely linked to the rest of the story in TWW though.

Ahh, good. I don't mind silliness but there is something about the goblins (and gnomes) that just feel a bit too much to me. Having said that, weirdly I feel like Mechagon (the island at least) didn't go nearly far enough in that regard. So I dunno, maybe I'm a hypocrite in the end, haha.

Anyway, that has me hopeful. I don't mind it not really linking into TWW's story much, I kinda expected it to be a side story at best.

I am once again sharing random speculation and thoughts from the group I'm apart of that discusses the lore, and I find this one particularly interesting. We've seen what happens to the titanforged who became the mortal races... but we actually have never seen a titan watcher become flesh and bone.

The Keepers are all accounted for; either dead or still active. We have the kind of watchers we've seen in the Dragon Isles (the "Stoney Tony" kind of watchers) and even the ones from Zandalar (M.O.T.H.E.R and even Hezrel) and the miscellaneous ones from all over the world. It goes without saying that these specific titanforged are generally the more powerful ones and/or have more significance compared to lesser titanforged.

What if one of them got the ole' fleshy deshy from Yogg-Saron?

I suppose one could argue that, given it was only the titanforged created in the forges of Ulduar that succumbed to the curse, these specific titanforged are different from the keepers/watchers in some way.
A fleshy keeper would be new and exciting I think.

Was is discussed before, that we might see our fifth cartel unlock after you finnish the raid?

Blackfuse most likely it seems, not the one who sided with Garrosh tho.

They're hooked up, but the files themselves just haven't been added to the game yet. Not encrypted or anything, just not there yet. Usually done around the last content build, so maybe next week.

We know for a fact one of the integrations they're messing with is Discord integration, so the soft announcement of that is neat as well. Pretty excited about more roleplaying stuff too.

That socialization stuff is like some crack pipedream stuff that I thought about, just so nice to see a more self aware Team realize their weaknesses and push for correction.

It is also just nice to see Roleplaying mentioned as a actual part of the game and not just the eternal boogeyman and cheap shots that it has been relegated to in the past.

Its so much better these days, whew.

Well that explains all the RP QOL features in 11.1.
