It isn't cancelled until it's cancelled. The Bullions were not going to be available until week 16 or so of the raid anyways. And given they only said they didn't like making the bullion available from the raid renown, and NOT that it came too late. I think it's fair to say that we can't really say it's definitely cancelled until, realistically, the 11.1.7 patch doesn't have it.

Yeah but again, 11.1.7 is far too late for using these for progress, and Ion did say they would come this patch. So things did either change or he mixed the patches up.

Why shouldn't they put it on the PTR and in the patch notes though? They prolly moved them back to the next patch so bullions will literally be useless for anyone who progresses through mythic rn. Well, I guess alteast my alts can get something out of it ...

The Jastor Diamond for instance will basically always be something you pick from the bullion. And if you add the bullion too early it just invalidates all the reason for even having it at all on the loot table in the raid.

I wouldn't be surprised if they added it as a catch up loot source in 11.1.7 honestly. Seems like getting 2-3 Bullions at that point would probably be about the same in terms of power level as the Cyrces Circlet was in 11.0.7

It's definitely a bit of a shame. But i think there is still a strong chance we get the bullion from something like the duos or something. Still quite a ways away. But nothing to conclusively state it definitely isn't happening.

Making the Bullions a part of the progression gearing would have been very disruptive without a rethink on how they function. So I would expect the developers to not want players to think it's something to expect for anything but catch up gear for when progression is basically over.

Sadly there is only so much extra gear can do for helping the guilds that are struggling. And if you just need more damage, then the flat buffs you get from the renown track are probably more impactful.

Not sure what they can do about the Bullions though. It's a great idea on paper. But in practice I fear it will quickly devolve into effectively just being a countdown to getting a big DPS increase. In which case the only difference it makes is that it makes it harder for the developers to make interesting raid items and trinkets.

If silver moon was destroyed/overtaken yet again by some cosmic schmucks seeking it's power, and being now closely tied to the nightborne who have the arcan'dor, it wouldn't be crazy to come to the conclusion that destroying the sunwell could be in the best interest of quel'thalas

Could they? Probably, maybe they don't have a choice if the sunwell is gone.
Should they? I don't think so. It's a very central point of their culture and something very unique to them as a race.

Many here have really short attention span, one guy even said that there is something wrong with TWW schedule cause 11.1 took 10 weeks, not 8 xD. Currently tested patch didn't even released, some already ask for next PTR, even if 11.1.7 will be just small patch, likely smaller than 1.5.

Really, imagine Ion is telling people from 2022, that next years you will get patch EVERY 2 months, no exceptions, no real droughts. People would laugh for months.

If it's impossible to avoid spoiling 11.2 with 11.1.7 datamining, I could see revealing 11.2 theme earlier. Or maybe some bigger housing presentation.

Assuming Midnight comes out early 2026, then around now would be about when to expect the expansion "announcement" anyways. So maybe we are getting closer to learning more about what to expect from Midnight besides housing and Quel'thalas.

We have the Midnight reveal in the roadmap so I very much doubt that they are going to give us info about it.

If MrGM is going there on WoW business, my bet is something related to Housing. Although it could also be 11.1.7. I don't know why most people seem to think that it would be smaller than 11.1.5.

11.0.7 had Siren Isle, which was decent gameplay wise and interesting lore-wise. We might get something similar.

My safest guess would be a press tour for 11.5 AND 11.7 since we'll have the PTR in maximum 3 weeks (and since these are minor patches, I'd even say we'll have the PTR in 2 weeks).
It could also be Classic related. Maybe they'll make an official Classic+ ? Would also be great to have cross releases for both Retail and SoD. Even if SoD contents are "simple", they'd fit some content drow in retail. The last SoD raid was pretty cool.

This is the least hyping thing in my opinion, but it could also be related to the Blizzard licence Netflix adaptation.

i created a hypothetical solution to M+ i wanted to share,
so right now M+ has breakpoints right, like +6 is hero pieces +7 is gilded +10 is myth vault
what if we squished these and each breakpoint had its own difficulty, lets see the difficulty area that would give you normal mode crests could be turned into a mode called "normal" and heroic rewards into its own mode that could be labeled " heroic" and this could also have a solo queu on the dungeon finder, and current 10 be m0, sounds like im being a but facetious but this is kind of what they did in dragonflight s4 but accelerated, obvious downside is that normal/heroic become much much harder and due to this psychological trick alot less gatekept but you will inevitable have some people that struggle- but i remember the cataclysm heroics and we mostly did fiine, also M+ on its own can exist as a cosmetic push rank instead of gear focused.

11.1 was revealed like 14 weeks before announcement IIRC. I just assumed that was because they wanted to fit it into Warcraft Direct, but what if that's the new norm to give major patches lots of time in the (public) oven?

11.0.7 did good job with hiding 11.1 to be honest, all we knew from datamining is that Orweyna will be part of questline + few goblin models. So we wasn't sure if it's Goblins messing with Rootlands or Undermine until reveal on Direct, without that we would have to wait for 11.0.7 launch. DF did horrible job here, underground zone and Emerald Dream were practically confirmed before their reveals.

So if 11.1.7 PTR will just show some Ethereals datamining, it won't spoil 11.2. But if names 'Rootlands', 'Worldcore' or 'Karesh' will drop in datamining as prologue chapters, it's another story.

That's true. Suppose there is also some confirmation on Legion Remix, or whatever else will fill the time between 11.2 and 12.0

Unlikely. If he was flying for buisness, he would have said something more cryptic than Disneyland. I won't say it's totally impossible that he's both going to Disney and an interview, but that's very unlikely.
