We still need the garden/exterior housing blog. Do you think they'll make housing on PTR rather than on Midnight beta ?

We're either getting another Decor article next, or an Exterior article.

    Most likely Exterior tbh

I could see them doing a housing ptr to collect more focused feedback tbh

I would expect Housing to be in 11.2.7 tbh.

Lol. I know your intentions aren't bad but there is something just hilarious to me about replying "how disappointing" to someone saying they're going on a family vacation

If Blizzard gave small prompts to West Studio, like "female Titan slumbers below" or "an ancient goddess sleeps below Azeroth", these images would make perfect sense.

But if they literally just told West Studio: "I dunno, just give us cool underground fantasy stuff!" then the images are so wildly randomly on point that I don't even know where to begin. Because "generic fantasy underground" concepts typically do not feature slumbering feminine Titans.

And if we do arrive at the conclusion that there must, indeed, have been small prompts given to West Studio by Blizzard, then it also stands to reason that the other images are likely also (at least to some degree) prompted.

After the Old God, we'll get the Hand God.

To be back on the topic, I am pretty confident to say that we'll have some sort of origin cave with Azeroth and a bigger amount of Orweyna's people.

Oh, I just realized the "Cradle" mentioned by Orweyna's friend could be a literal cradle surrounding the Worldsoul. Possibly made of Elun'ahir's roots. If the zone is themed around a giant sleeping titan with skybox tricks that would make for a good distinction from Emerald Dream 2.0.

Maybe Elune is "stealing" (saving) Azeroth from the titans forcible influence and Eonar betrayed them to help her, and that is why Elune has such a heavy presence on Azeroth. That also could be how Azeroth empowered the aspects through Amir'drassil- she can use world trees because she is connected to at least one of them.

    I like this theory.

Although the possibility of a baby Titan growing for eons in a big cave seems ridiculous, but I guess that Titans have to be born in some way.

Showing more of Life's influence on the Worldsoul would be nice for sure.

They have waffled on Titans ACTUALLY growing inside planets like babies versus their astral souls forming (see: Argus, hints in Zereth Mortis) but that art does imply they may be going for the former. It would look cool at least.

  12. #85952
The art doesn't really imply anything lol.

Also, if Azeroth's body forming was planned, it should be shown to us already.

The pictures are cool but I won't look too much into them. Right now, the information that we have points to K'aresh for 11.2. Maybe 11.1.7 changes that, but it is difficult.

I would say that IMO the Harranir and the Worldcore make sense for TLT, though, and then we might find some of Azeroth's baby body parts.

Since we are sooner or later going to K'aresh, most likely to its core, it would be cool to see parts of what would have been K'aresh body, but twisted and corrupted by the Void.

Oh yeah, it would be cool to see the broken corpse of K'aresh inside the world. However, would it be humanoid? I think Azeroth and Argus are only humanoid because of titan meddling.

I guess that it would be humanoid. If Blizzard goes this way I'm sure that the art team would knock it out of the park as usual, so no worries here.

Actually, it would make kind of sense, whether we see K'aresh body or not, that the Ethereals use the Dark Heart to actually give K'aresh a body.

The Dark Heart currently has inside it Decay power (to resurrect / awaken him), Black Blood (to create his body), Arcane (to stabilize him), and of course Void power. K'aresh is born and starts the Void invasion against us, sending Void minions to the Sunwell, the only place where he can be summoned into Azeroth.

Even if this were used, who's to say this isn't just going to be used for a wall protecting the Worldcore or something along those lines? Afterall, the Renilash prophecy did talk about a wall made of living rocks from Titans.

All I'm saying is that it's very random to have this "Titan" lady in there unless somebody asked them to include something along those lines. Almost to the point where I'd argue it is statistically impossible.

It's just too close to the idea of Azeroth. Now, this might have been in an era before they definitely turned away from the old idea that Azeroth would be a Titan one day. So we might not get more than the yellow worldsoul blob we've seen in TWW cinematics.

But it does show that every single one of these West Studio images should at least be considered as a possible future outcome.
Once again, y'all are overhyping Metzen's influence on the current lore. He alone cannot really retcon what's been established in Shadowlands or whatnot.

Also, I think Blizzard very much doesn't want to pull another "Me'dan" or "Eredar tier lore fuck up" on us.

We literally went to the core of Argus and only saw a Worldsoul. Why would it be any different for Azeroth outside of "Oh yeah, Sargeras was messing with Argus while the Titans were messing with Azeroth"?

Wait a minute.. Its just Argus but K'aresh. Oh god.
I no longer reply to quotations beyond if you're asking a genuine question or have a non-confrontational stance.

Not really. Depends on if K'aresh's Worldsoul is still alive or not. It's entirely possible Dimensius consumed most of it, likely as a means of providing itself a proper foothold within the Beyond.

I hope not. But a considerable amount this forum seem to just want Midnight to be Legion with purple paint. So checks out

I mean, what do you want Midnight to be outside of "akin to Legion but with the Void"? Cause I don't want to be on Azeroth the entire expac. Seems like a waste for the Void Vs Light expac.

    - - - Updated - - -

Every major cosmic power expac's taken place off world in some way.

Legion had us invade the Legion's Capital

Shadowlands had us visit the afterlife and face the Devil

And Midnight is gonna have us stand with the Light and banish the Shadow forever. I think us going to K'aresh and/or a Light and Void cosmic battleground would be a peak climax for the expac.
