So about them lorewalking quests, it says you can start at 10. Can you get all the way to 60 with them?

I'd be shocked if you could. Are they repeatable?

Funny enough, they look like a pantheon that way

    Truly cinematic.

I'm calling it : the four old gods imprisonned her because they were affraid of the bad report she would do to the Void Lords about them.
maybe because we were told DIRECTLY that TLT is about a VAST TITAN CONSPIRACY??? and this clearly fits into that ???????????????????

Yes, a conspiracy making us believe that what they told us was maybe just what they wanted us to believe. Not that what pantheon in entirely different realms of existence is false.

This conspiracy is presumably about the nature of the Worldsoul and the whole 'prison'-system they've built around it to create another Titan out of her. Probably against her will. Which will destroy the surface and all that, and tilt the cosmic conflict in the Titans' favor. Ordering is against the free will, basically.

Sargeras might've even tried to save her when he plunged his sword into the surface, trying to destroy the Manifold which has imprisoned the Worldsoul. Azeroth showed herself in his visions, according to one Legion artifact. Not that he is in any way or form a good guy, of course. But this might be an interesting take on the nature of Azeroth and the Legion.

And with the new lore about Xal'atath, it may seem like even the Old Gods didn't want to kill the Worldsoul. That they 'rebelled' against the Void Lords (thus imprisoning their Herald, Xal'atath), basically going against their parasitic nature. Which may also be one of the reasons why the Titans fought so hard against them and have edicts talking about erasing all bits about the history and culture of the Black Empire. Thus erasing their slightly more nuanced side. I mean, this would finally make some sense:
First: All historical records documenting the advancements of the Black Empire are to be purged.
Paint that age as one of chaos and misery, a pernicious blight that we keepers eradicated. With the Old Gods locked in confinement, there should be no evidence available to contradict our assertions.
Surely if you care for these mortals, you would not wish to see them led astray into darkness.

People should also remember the talk about the Radiant Song, and how Zereth Mortis also talked about the music of creation. Radiant Songs (Worldsouls) might be vestigal energies from the First Ones which need tuning (literally and metaphorically) to become one of the 6 Cosmic Powers.

It's better than a bunch of talking murals

The conspiracy is about the Worldsoul of Azeroth and the Titans true intentions for it. How would the whole Shadowlands thing fit with that conspiracy?

I've been wondering about this for a while, though it goes against why N'zoth had such a boner for corrupting her in BFA. Maybe he's just the bad egg of the bunch?

I don't remember the other three actively gunning for corrupting her.

All of them are obviously malignant and corruptive in nature, but yeah; It seems as he had other intentions which do match the plot of BfA (retroactively). Maybe he wanted to ascend himself? Or something like that? But it was clearly against the agenda of his brothers, that time at least.

This is all very interesting, and it seems like it's not 'random' at all. Blizzard is clearly going towards a certain direction, really curious how it will turn out.

While SL can be "fixed" with a couple reveals, they are really playing the long game with N'zoth. Hell of a course correction for that guy: hell, they even introduced the "he's in the dagger" macguffin with him in the very same raid he's killed.

Surprised they had the foresight to do that.

I don't think so. They're comprised of 3 questchains, and looks like 2 of the three are pre-existing chains & one is completely new. By my estimate you'll get to around 40 if you do all 3 to completion. But they will add more over time (a high elf history quest is partially complete in the datamine & will probably be in the game by Midnight's pre-patch) so eventually you can level completely within lorewalking.

So ... Do you all think the new forsaken models are tied to some kind of content? Or just trading post?
I feel like it's probably just trading post, both the chess sets/weapons/mounts and the banshee sets/weapons/mounts give off trading post vibes. But I'd love it if it was more than that!

Setup for our inevitable showdown with the Titans. And less-so of it being fake and more being artificial. The afterlife wasn't supposed to be what the Shadowlands are, and that's part of why it was collapsing when we came by it

Basically more of the "The Titans are interfering with stuff and while in some cases it can be good, in others it doesn't work"

It's pretty unusual. At this point the Forsaken have got a lot of racial assets compared to other races. I think this either means they really are planning to update Lordaeron in midnight, or we'll be getting new assets for all races in the next few races, eventually preparing for a full old world revamp.

It was collapsing cause Zovaal messed everything up. Had nothing to do with the Titans.

Also, we can face off against the Titans VIA us learning about the true intentions for Azeroth. We don't need to retcon anything from Shadowlands, as there's really no need.

I think someone said that the Trading Post is set for "Forsaken Remembrance" or something like that in like June or July. So its just Trading Post.

    edit:

Where have we seen banshee sets and weapons? I saw someone link a few Forsaken-themed weapons in this page but nothing Banshee

Undead were one of my favourite races before Belf was introduced in tbc so am happy they are getting more stuff!

Edit: Nvm, found them. It also looks like we might be getting Sylvanas' Bow

    40 is actually quite high.

Or maybe he was afraid. Every other zit got popped and they were all bigger and nastier than him. So better to focus on the actual mission instead of trying to do his own thing and maybe the Void Daddies would reward him.
