This is more likely to happen then I think a lot of people are giving Blizzard credit for. Not that I'm not saying K'aresh wont' be the final raid in 11.2, but one of the nice things about tying the Worldsoul Saga into three expansions, is they can do little teaser drops like the end of Undermine, and not touch on those for several patches down the line in the next expansion.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if the K'aresh cinematic at the end of the Undermine campaign was treated more like a "Thanos at the end of The Avengers" moment, where it shows us a future destination and threat, but 11.2 instead focuses on the Rootlands, and ties up the corruption of the Old God blood that the Goblins started digging up in Ringing Deeps as it spreads into the Haranir's homeland, and the plot has Orweyna as the focal point, with a raid tied around the N'Raqi, or some ancient evil (tm) that woke up with the Goblin's meddling.

It's also possible, of course, that we get both as well - with the Rootlands as the playable quest zone and new dungeon, and K'aresh as the Raid zone.

I'm still June 19th gang for 11.2 announcement. It'd make sense to start marketing a new major patch a few days after 11.1.7's release, and that's what they did with Undermine(d) as well.

    Good team to be on

K'aresh seems like a perfect location for a hollow earth zone. Reversed gravity so we transverse the inside of the crust of the planet with the corrupted core high in the sky as the sun. I maintain that not every zone has to be underground because of the double meaning of the "War Within", but that's the one type of zone I've seen asked for the most since we heard we were going underground.

I'm still betting on Rootlands zone and K'aresh raid, but it would be fine if that were put on the backburner for TLT. There's a clear spot for it in Khaz Algar, but I think it could be easily moved to anywhere and have it explained that the haranir can travel great distances using root magic. It would be nice to know that we're finally in a place where Blizzard aren't afraid of returning to an idea after an expansion ends, even if it's instead limited to a saga.

What are everyone's hopes and dreams for TLT, then? I know it's a way off but a couple of months from now it'll suddenly become the next expansion to be revealed.

I hope there's a dark and gloomy feeling caused by the death of Titans. Some kind of "Titanfall" curse. Not really looking for a "Titans are evil" type of revelation but rather just a "oh damn, we're left to our own decices; the gods are dead" scenario. Technically that's been true for most of WoW but actually seeing them blasted to pieces before our eyes would be quite different.

I hope there's a new Lich King of sorts. Perhaps Denathrius or Kel'thuzad.

I hope Sholazar Basin is truly amazing with modern graphics. A lush jungle, full of mystery. New vaults to uncover, strange plants and animals growing rampantly, and perhaps even portals to the realms of Life for extra depth.

I hope there's a crap ton of new Viking vibes with the Vrykul. Perhaps a new island (Avaloren)? Gimme playable Vrykul, tattoos and everything.

I hope there's a lot of focus on the cosy adventurer feel of Grizzly Hills. Remote taverns and beautiful natural landscapes like rushing water and fields of flowers. Give me a Bard class or Hero Talent to go with this.

I hope there's a new take on Dragon lore. Perhaps delving deeper into their origins and elemental side.

And finally I hope this becomes some final reckoning with Order and the Light. Like, maybe the whole theme of a controlling force seeking to determine Azeroth's fate reaches its climax in Northrend. Maybe we delve deep below Ulduar to reach Uldaz or the Worldcore.
I don't want to see Denathrius return, not yet at least.

I still want my Demon-War expansion to become a thing next saga! Gimme my revamped Outland, Demonic worlds, and all out Disorder BS!

I think TLT is going to have the keepers turn Northrend into a stronghold of Titanforged forces who "give up" on the Azeroth races for whatever reason. Odyn connects HOV to Ulduar and they spread the Titanforged (and Vrykul, by association, unless they rebel) through the continent to keep away adventurers.

Imagine if Xal'atath decides to feed the vengeful trolls Black Blood, creating an immense force to destabilise and weaken Quel'thalas from the east.

In the south they'll be beset by undead outbreaks in Eastwold, with a mysterious figure causing new plagues to appear.

In the west, the Naga attack the coastline, preparing for the return of their queen.

In the north, Quel'danas is under threat from the Void.
I really hope that after Xal comes to Zul'Aman to rezz Ktraxxi general and offer trolls chance to avenge Zul'Jin - they just "Nah, evil loa, fck you. We don't need your corruption for this. GLORY TO AMANI TROLLS, VENGEANCE FOR ZUL'JIN" shit and start blasting Void creatures.
Not another nerubians or draeneis from Argus. Proud, strong and fierce.

To be honest, the Amani being anything but neutral toward us would be crazy. Likewise, the Amani taking another shady deal would be insanely stupid as well.

They already got humbled twice. I mean, it's pretty much already been confirmed there is going to be Void Trolls, but I do hope that it's going to be the minority of it rather than us having to help a small rebel faction once again.

Not saying 11.2 (so people don’t get too mad), but 1.5 hours.

  15. #89495
If anyone is curious Catastrophy source is probably Towelliee stream, in name he put "Embargo lift 9 AM" (which is 18:00 CEST, over hour from now).

It's really sad that Blizzard already blew their Avengers Endgame moment against Fyrakk because I feel like it would go really hard in TLT.

They really don't have clear idea what to do with Horde/Alliance. In TWW they made big entrance to the city at the start of campaign.. and then nothing.

Still piss me off how possibly last grand war between them was wasted on "Horde warchief bad" stuff again instead of real story where both sides have heroes and villains. Not to mention half BfA was just N'zoth expansion for some reason.

YEah it did feel wasted on Fyrakk. Sry but Fyrakk was just the discount, Costco "We have Deathwing at home!" version of Neltharion.

Still would love to know what the embassies were originally meant for.

When it comes to TLT, I want the Frostborn dwarves incorporated into the Alliance as a skin for Earthen (just have them have a short intro of their own, shouldn't be hard). We're returning to Northrend and there's no excuse to not have them be an option at this point. Also I'm looking forward to exploring Harrowsdeep, Iridikron's lair, since it should be located somewhere in the southern Storm Peaks (described as north of Dragonblight at the foot of a mountain).

I mean, maybe? We know the Demons have a plot going on in Midnight's prequel book, so Blizzard definitely ain't done with them yet.

Btw, with the Arathi stuff going on, as well as the Demon stuff, this furthers my theory that the next saga will likely involve these plots:

    1. The dawn of a new age for Azeroth (Maybe could see a World Revamp here? Idk)

    2. Avaloren, the Arathi Empire, Titanforged exiles, a new type of Dragon, etc

And 3. An all out Demonic War on both Outland and other worlds (Rancora raid for ??.0, Nathreza zone and Xoroth raid for ??.1, and Krexan zone + Nihilam raid for ??.2). Argus would be explored again in the expac, with new areas of the world being showcased in Dungeons!

Gimme. All. Of. This. Blizzard. Kickstart the next 20-30 years of WoW this way, and bring new blood to the fray.
