Given the forum, subform, and thread we're presently in, it is generally a safe assumption that it would be Warcraft related.

I think he was being figurative. Like, "right around the corner" means in about a month or so in this case.

I just realized...

When they say "the machine of death", they literally mean a cosmic machine created by Death. Like, Death's machine originated at Zereth Mortis, and it primarily functions within the Shadowlands. So, yeah, the idea that the cosmic forces are portions of the First Ones themselves makes sense, especially since the Progenitors proceeded to work from these portions at the Heart of the Cosmic Pattern and the Machine of Origination.

I'm glad the game is in a good (enough) place where they can stick to these strict content schedules, but damn if it the dripfeed doesn't get to you sometimes.

I feel like the mid patch > last patch cadence is always particularly slow. At least with .0 > .1 you have the larger content drop from expansion launch and .2 > .0 you have months of speculation, announcement, datamining, beta, etc.

And there's the anxiety of "what story beats are going to get dropped/postponed" that has happened with BFA (Sylvanas) and DF (Tyr) during that time as well. We will probably see this happen again with a certain area that may or may not have to do with roots.
