Midnight Overview
- New Class: Warden
- Mail; 1h Swords/Axes, Daggers, Glaives, Shields, Bows, Guns, and Crossbows
- Runic (Tank) - Hero Talents (Shadow Hunter & Spellbreaker) --> 1h Weapons w/ Shield
- Celestial (RDPS) - Hero Talents (Night Warrior & Spellbreaker) --> Range Weapons
- Voodoo (MDPS) - Hero Talents (Night Warrior & Shadow Hunter) --> Dual-wield 1h Weapons
- Character Creation Revamp
- Players now choose a background for their character which gives new options for creative expression and role-playing potential.
- Backgrounds are both baseline and unlocked through questlines and renowns.
- For example, players can create an Elf and choose the Kaldorei or Sin'dorei backgrounds which are baseline or choose the Quel'dorei Background once unlocked
- Similar with trolls having Darkspear, Farakki, or Zandalari baseline but can unlock Amani through Amani Empire renown.
- Humans can choose different kingdoms or Orcs choose a different clan.
- Many races are paired down (Worgens, Kul Tirans, Humans, and Forsaken all combined into Humanity choosing different kingdoms; IE: Lordaeron --> Forsaken)
- New Zones: World slowly revamped over the course of Midnight and TLT
- Hills of Strom (Pre-Patch)
- Lordaeron --> Kingdom of New Lordaeron (Renown)
- The Eastwald --> The Silver Hand (Renown)
- Marasi Hills --> Amani Empire (Renown)
- Quel'thalas --> Union of Thas'alah (Renown)
