I dont think we'd get a bunch of void specs tbh (alleria is a void hunter just like the demon hunter boss becomes btw, she just uses a bow because she used to be a ranger like how allari is a demon hunter who uses a scythe) but I could see new specs being added to a bunch of classes especially after SoD added a bunch of new roles for existing classes and several new playstyles that could easily split into new specs
shaman tank, shockadin dps as a mid range class with some melee abilites, mage healer, rogue tank
i do hope if they add new specs we dont get 1 per class in the same expac tho, weve already seen that if blizzard needs to do something for every class theyre gonna run out of time and phone some stuff in, like we saw with hero talents or artifact weapon secret skins (why is hpals just an overwatch reference..................................................................) and giving us really well designed well integrated new specs would be way better in the long run despite people bitching that their class didnt get anything
THO im also a believer that we could get role changing hero talents, like shaman could easily get turned into a tank spec with a hero talent giving them their primary tank tools (like taunts etc) but still building off the spec skeleton of enchanment, with maelstorm weapon being the key resource of the tank spec but focusing on spending it on self healing and reworking ascednece to be earth ascdenent instead of wind etc; same thing for a bdk dps or prot warrior dps giving us classic wrath BDK or glad stance
this would also be a good chance to reorient the class/specialization/hero talent paradigm potentially expanding hero talents to having slightly more talents and being introduced earlier and unlocked through out the leveling process, kinda allowing a vibe similar to the rift soul trees while opening up a lot more vibes of tanking/healing/dpsing with out needing to create truly new classes/specs
like idk why everyone is so negative this is the most excited ive ever been for WoW content and blizzard has a truly amazing set up for the future between housing, delves and hero talents idk if they'll manage to deliver but i have hope

Before we saw the Void DH setup, I'd thought there was a good chance of a Void-focused class in Midnight. Now I think they'll do it though new specs instead.

LOL, the Wildhammer gryphons got all the Horde stuff taken out of their descriptions. I wonder if that was an oversight or we will be getting a Horde themed version later?
I think the same, housing is good but Midnight NEED have a new class
The 4 expansion that added class were objetively better than the others that no, or at least they tried little bit harder.
WoLtk
MoP
Legion
Dragonflight (most wonky but still better than TWW or Shadowlands)
TWW: Allied Race+Delves+Hero Talents
Midnight: Housing+New Class+Enhanced/Reworked/Revamped Hero talent more like Class Skins.
TLT: Demon Hunter for more races (Illidan will be back 100% sure), and new race(RACE, not Allied Race), return of Class Hall
This is my bet for the trilogy

Gleeful Glamour for Ethereals, first "NPC race" to get one.
I don't think they'll be adding any more specs aside from a Void one for DH, especially if they keep Hero Talents. It's already an okay feature, but on top of having to balance a new spec for every class (assuming you meant this), then there's also hero talents for them. I just don't think it's worth the effort it'll cost.
My preference would be something that wouldn't feel so locked in to the Void aesthetic we're already getting a ton of. I've always liked the notion of a Spellbreaker sort of class to debut in Midnight. A plate or meal wearer that utilizes magic along with melee. Perhaps even arcane/magic shield, heavy bashing and redirects of enemy spells. It could even have a Void/Light/Arcane division for the specs to represent the Thalassian elven magic alignments.

I think you're on the money regarding the Wastelanders. I'm not putting away hope yet. It screams 11.2.5 feature to me.
I think that the next class will be plate user, because one of the most controversial of Evoker was the inability to be tanks, and Blizzard know, perhaps the next class will be tank option and for blizzard tank is leather or plate user, we had 2 leathers tank users as class so i think that this time will be plate user, Spellbreaker can be this...tinker either but i no have hope

I enjoyed DF very very very more than TWW, could be better theme but DF had better cadence of content and a more gorgeus map
Having a new Self Contained continent for almost all the adventure really did help.
TWW meanwhile is a bit all over the place.
Explore this island
Now four levels of caves there.
Now this other island
Now this other underground place that is under neither of thise
Now this new planet
Yeah, I'm not a fan either.

Still sounds like an FFXIV class or a wow spec.
Windweaver, Brewmasterm Windwalker, Void Fighter
Well it sounds like tha to me, anyway. And I could very well be wrong. Most of the time I try to be very clever with my analysis I end up being wrong.
I think Warden is the most likely, while Night Warrior would be the coolest.
Hey, that reminds me, we still need a plot.
What if Knaifu McFeet antagonises the Elves in hopes of drawing out Elune to either drain her power or to use her as a new, even stronger vessel?
Could provide us with a reason to roll (Mid)Night Warrior.
And it is a more interesting plan than simply fill everything with Void because void is good and Harbinger wants void cause the boss said so.
Trading Post Gryphons are now all wildhammer themed... And mention Northeron... Curioser and curioser

One day we'll go to Nathreza
The expansions that i enjoy more were that 4. Each one added a class
Anda the expansions that i didnt enjoy was WoD and Shadowlands, each one not added class neither race
TBC, BFA, Cata and TWW in middle of the table
It might not be simple chance
Anyways, I have always had the feeling that those that add class are done with more desire.

Yeah, I agree. Without class or race, expansions are bland. If Midnight is to be one of the great expansions, it needs a new class.
A void class? If the void dh comes out, I don't really believe it. A magic class like a spellblade or a bard would work better in this case.
