To be fair the 3k mount for M+ did help to increase the amount of people who play M+ at that level, so for sure it will help since unlike with PvP, you can't really not get the rewards if you push since you can't loose rating (which may be one of the biggest reasons why people dont even try rated pvp in the first place i guess).
a cloth wearing bard, perhaps with a new weapon type a musical instrument slot, ranging from items like flutes harps and guitars, and have the abilities change sound based on instrument, but then again if we are getting a bard class it wont be in worldsoul saga just wanted to expand with the clothy.
Some correction:
We have 7 healer specs:
- Holy Paladin
- Preservation Evoker
- Restoration Shaman
- Restoration Druid
- Mistweaver Monk
- Holy Priest
- Discipline Priest
We have 13 melee specs:
- Arms Warrior
- Fury Warrior
- Retribution Paladin
- Frost Death Knight
- Unholy Death Knight
- Survival Hunter
- Enhancement Shaman
- Assassination Rogue
- Subtelty Rogue
- Outlaw Rogue
- Havoc Demon Hunter
- Windwalker Monk
- Feral Druid
We have 13 ranged specs
- Beastmaster Hunter
- Marksmanship Hunter
- Elemental Shaman
- Devestation Evoker
- Augmentation Evoker (yes, that counts as ranged dps)
- Balance Druid
- Shadow Priest
- Arcane Mage
- Fire Mage
- Frost Mage
- Affliction Warlock
- Demonology Warlock
- Destruction Warlock
You counted classes, instead of specs. But looking at specs, we are on par between ranged and melee dps, and more healers than tanks.
I don't love the idea of a nuked Northend, and if people want order halls which I could see making a comeback for TLT Northend has plenty of iconic locations for most of the classes, there are a few you'd struggle with but still.
I still think Ulduar is going to be our home city, and its big enough they can even have separate wings for each class. Especially if its redesigned to include this. I could see a a potential Tinker having its class hall in the Mimiron wing for example, or even just Ulduar itself.
It might be interesting if the expansion does open with Iridikrons gambit, and the titans bar 1 are all gone. That the classes could have a separate keeper to guide them from their respective wing/Hall. Mimiron for tinkers/Freya for druids/Hodir for DKs/Tyr for paladins as examples. Especially if they're helping us unwrap the "titan conspiracies". Without artifact weapons the halls could focus on the class themselves, and focus on class cosmetics as opposed to a weapon.
You may then have to bring in some other keepers from different parts of the planet at that stage to fill out the classes and fit one in for everyone. I could see stony Tony joining Evokers on Wyrmrest for example (not that he's a keeper, but Tyr is taken) But it could be interesting. The keepers could be our path to understanding what's going on. Some of them are already shown to be questioning things like Archaedas. If Sargeras was to be a 'good guy' , would be interesting if DH got the seat of the Pantheon with Sargeras and Illidan having their gentlemenly debates as a special hall too. Especially if Illidans the only thing keeping him there after the other titans fall, and Sargeras is begrudgingly drip feeding the information the other classes are having to work to get with their keepers.
Saying that, Aman'thul end boss is also a fair shout, but I'm certain this story ends with Sargeras. (by this I don't mean Sargeras as a boss, just that he'll be the 'last titan'.

I still think Tinker for TLT. Titan/order theme, Tank/Heal/Ranged, plate or mail, all races. But after they skipped Necromancer in SL and went with Evoker nothing really would surprise me.
I think tinker has the highest chance rn. If Midnight is classless or features new specs instead of them, I think Tinkers chances only go up too.
Saying that, Necromancer has also been gaining some traction, albeit a little.
I'd love for them to surprise us with tinkers and necromancers for a return to Northend. Although Necromancers could easily be a Warlock class skin if they chose to do so.
Okay I'm fully on the "11.2 drops on Aug 5th" train now.
The roadmap shows the Midnight reveal is after 11.2 release and we know the reveal is during Gamescom (Aug 20th - Aug 24th).
So we know its before that, great. So either Aug 5th or Aug 12th.
Dungeon testing ends August 5th. So could be either still.
Turbulent Timeways ends Aug 5th.
- 11.0 Turbulent Timeways ended Feb 25,2025. 11.1 Dropped same day.
- 10.1 TT ended Oct 31, 2023. Blizzcon was 2 days later. Then 11.2 dropped Nov 7th, 2023.
- 10.0 TT ended May 9th, 2023. 10.1 actually launched May 2nd, 2023. So it launched early.
Of these 3 ( which I know is a very small sample size), the patch only launched one time later than TT ending because of many of the staff at Blizzcon.
If dropping on the 12th, then raid starts on the 19th with RWF being during Gamescom Midnight Reveal. It also throws a lore-wrench into it if we see the reveal a day after the raid releases. For a Trilogy, you'd figure the last raid's cinematic will show the invasion. Or leading up to it.
With this patch being oddly complete on the PTR, all these points make me think Aug 5th. I might be wrong, but I hope not! I wanna play this asap!

Yeah, we're not getting housing news til August

Imo housing posts + youtuber event did it's job already, people are more hyped than worried it could turn into garrison 2.0. Now we will have PTR and likely chain events: 5th August patch, 12th August season+race, 20ish August Midnight reveal, 10.2.5 reveal somewhere in between or on gamescom (anniversary, duskwood thing, dh spec?) and Alpha is probably around September.

I just want them to rework the transmog systems and remove the restrictions.
Its so silly we can run around with beachwear for all armor types but a warrior in a robe? Impossibru!
Cross weapon type transmog? Sure thing for artifacts! Change the dagger to a mace? No way!
Just be done with it. And remove the pointless holiday-only restrictions.

I'm not really convinced for lifting armor restriction, but I'm aware many cosmetics sets crossed that already. Maybe there should be 2 transmogs, one for combat and one 'civilian'? Full support for lifting weapon restrictions, of course within your class.
What I would add is binding transmog to slot instead item, it's 2025 already. I would also clear mess with multiple item IDs for same transmog, not only for collectors with OCD but also to prevent situation when you accidentally buy and use cosmetic item you already own from different ID.

Oh, snap, this legacy farming event is actually huge. Chances for pre-DF mounts are increased 10x and most of them are ~1% drop. Personally I'll just drop other games and farm remaining stuff, 10% is huge.

The dungeon/raid mount buff is actually insane. Hats off to Blizz.

They said they'd reveal more news about Neighborhoods eventually as well. Wouldn't be shocked if we get a first look at both Neighborhoods, with a reveal of 3 Building Exterior sizes (exterior and interior sizes don't affect one another, but the exterior size would be a cool way to flex regardless lol).
For Human, I'm expecting this:
Small- Shack
Medium- Cottage
Large- Mansion
