Are people really debating the Khadgar wheelchair being performative? Is it really so impossible that it is simply a floating wheelchair because someone figured that seeing a floating wheelchair is kinda funny?

The world revamp dream will never die!

What's funny about this is that we had a progressive wheelchair moment in DF that was already laughed at (and a little understandably, as it was a dracthyr). Now, western American culture has gotten so bad that just the sight of a wheelchair (with no comment from character or devs) is seen as a political statement.

its almost like injuries take time to recover from and its kind of. Bad storytelling to just immediately heal a character of all of the wounds they had and ignore the fact we thought they were dead for months on end.
Please never get into story making if you genuinely cannot get the shorthand of "Show a character in a wheelchair to show they were heavily injured and are now recovering". Almost like.... Magic can't just heal everything (which we've seen in game, let's not forget that one Icecrown quest where every healing in the world isn't enough to save that one guy until a Naaru gets involved) and if it could, then that's just a deus ex machina that takes away a lot of the stakes.
If you want characters to immediately heal from injuries with no lasting consequences, 90s shonen anime is there for you.
Why does the chair need the wheels tho? Khadgar can float

Is faerin using a spear and a shield when she's missing an arm also funny?

The wheelchair makes no sense. It's a setting where healing magic exists so khadgar doesn't need to sit on a wheelchair, especially when he can float

I mean, presumably for the times when he can't float because, y'know, he's in recovery. As someone who's been through surgery this year, some days you're fine as if there's no problems, and others you are just dead to the world and need to sleep the day off
Also because its a pre-existing asset (Drek'thar's used a wheelchair since Cata) and it'd look far more stupid if Khadgar was floating around on a standard chair.

For the love of God, Montresor, can we stop derailing this thread because "that crowd" decided to shit themselves in impotent rage again?
confirmed by my uncle nitnendo and masahiro samurai

There was also a bit when the wheelchair was introduced where Khadgar said that he uses that wheelchair because he likes it, and Alleria pointed out that he likes it because Modera designed it for him and he loves her. It was just their most blatant ship tease yet, no need to toss in jokes about Modera's taste on top of that.
And I see no issue in him being unable to walk now. Magic shouldn't be able to solve everything, there needs to be consequences sometimes- and Khadgar did say that desperately transmuting himself into pure magic and back came with consequences.
I'm losing my fucking mind. Khadgar sits in the wheelchair because 1) He likes the chair because Archmage Modera made it for him and it's implied he has a crush on her. 2) He said transforming himself into pure arcane energy came at a cost. His "injury," being magical in nature, probably can't be healed through normal means. Both of these points were explained at the exact same time the wheelchair was introduced.
I don't remember people reacting this way when Drek'thar rolled up in a wheelchair. Mostly people thought it was funny. But people these days are so fucked in the head.

Khadgar on a normal chair with all of the grace of a Garrys Mod NPC is not cooler
Siller and potentially leading to videos of just adding Garrys Mod sounds to Warcraft? Perhaps.
Oh, I'm aware. But dragging them into the absolute depths of their stupidity might have some of them realise they're stupid

LMAO I didn't mean to post the Robin dancing to that rap song from TTG video

THIS is what I wanted to show y'all! A sneak peek at the Dimensius boss room

Looks really big and cool, and ontop of that, it seems like Dimensius is within his core, feeding from the Dark Heart.
Has the Murmur book been found yet? I could only find one book while exploring, wondering if the rest are found in Phase Diving or locked by some other sort of phasing.

I can complain plenty about how Salhadaar's boss room is just another platform (and I think he got shafted in general considering the potential he had for lore, character, etc.—maybe he'll get something out of being Xal'atath's servant) and how the demon hunter bosses are fought in an area that looks like a place where you'd have done a world quest back on Argus. But I've got to say the walkway leading to Dimensius is actually grandiose and memorable. I really like how you can see this big set of TBC mana tubes in the background, it genuinely gives you the sense that you're in a huge sci-fantasy factory and nexus of a cosmic operation.
Wish the place looked gnarlier and more angular, and wish they dropped the generic nightborne runes at the base of the platform for something that looks more sci-fi like the runes ethereal areas had in TBC, but it overall looks cool. It actually brings back happy memories of Half-Life's Citadel.

Brainrot dogwhistling should be insta-ban on a speculation thread, just saying.
Anyway, back to the topic at hand, will the Naaru be part of the next Xal plan? We know how they are strongly connected with the Void issues.
