I know this factoid about WoW, but combined with the fact that they were developing Warcraft 3 and WoW at the same time, if they hadn't already decided to add Night Elves & Forsaken to WoW, they probably wouldn't have existed in Warcraft 3 either. At worst they would have been sequestered off from classic like Gilneas & saved for later expansions

While fair, you can't deny that they both stick out like a sore thumb. Everything from aesthetic, to beliefs, to occupied land.

Fatescribe you quested with in Korthia, Soulrender had Garrosh and Painsmith's lore is that he literally made the traps that annoyed you a whole season ago in Torghast. Guardian teased Zereth Mortis directly.

Are the raid spoilers out cause, we don't know yet but it is assumed that she does pull the Gul'dan AU route but either A) Needs to slurp Sunwell before Azeroth itself or B) Quel'thalas invasion is a distraction to slurp Azeroth.

But, then again I don't know or assume anything more than that.

Only thing I have seen was the spell of her consuming the remaining parts of the K'aresh world soul or at least attempting to since I don't have the context of what happens in the fight.

There is a datamined conversation that seems to be post raid that confirms Xal is gone, admitted she wants to be the next All-Devouring, and kills Locus Walker (going to guess he protects Alleria)

All in all Xal is the main villain of Midnight vs someone else like Azshara or Denathrius

Oh so she does leave the Dark Heart due to that dialogue, I didn't read it that way cause I thought she was still in the Dark Heart. Okay, so yeah will be curious to see if she starts the invasion due to a need for a distraction or if she needs the Sunwell slurped too.

She also seems to be the next All-Devouring after Dimensius, which is scary cause unlike him, she can utilize her full power VIA having a proper stable physical form.

Not really. We don't know what happens with Soul-Scribe and her troops, as that is the cliffhanger at the end of the dungeon.

On top of that everyone is assuming Alleria's dialog talking about the death of Locus-walker happens post dungeon, but the end of raid dialog describes Xal'atath absconding with Alleria at the end of the raid & we probably won't see either of them again until Midnight; so obviously the death of locus-walker & the quest involving its aftermath must happen before that

It strikes me as a bit odd to kill off Locus Walker when he is, perhaps, the most prominent Ethereal to date in the overall cast. I guess that role will fall to Ve'nari now given the revelation that Brokers are also Ethereals.

I do not dislike her, though I do want more men front and centre in the story again...

also locus walker was a little hinky for me personally given the fact he kept trying to isolate alleria from the void elves and take over the leadership and mentor guide to them

until i see it on screen and there is a body i dont believe he is actually dead

Brokers are K'areshi, they are not Ethereals.

That doesn't make sense considering Broker is a kind of job. As they explained it the Brokers didn't survive the destruction of Karesh in a different way; it was the exact same way. Broker is just a specific kind of Ethereal.

There are some story reasons why it would be awkward if he was the main ethereal character. But they will probably shift focus to the Wastelanders and the Consortium.

I agree that it makes sense to ice Alleria's tutor but there's a bit more to it in the patch story that explains what happens to him.

Also, Salhadaar is still alive albeit kidnapped by Xal.
