It's literal told over and over again on the new Ethereal novel. For example:

The radiant visions were the cry of K'aresh's Worldsoul.

When it comes to WoW lore people seem to love shutting their brain down for some reason. The same things that could happen in any other form of storytelling can happen in WoW but they'd be hated without reason.

If I was a Blizzard dev I wouldn't listen to any of it, because they do have a good story set up here. Don't need to mess it up because people are being nonsensical.

I mean they have a month to get mad before they get absolutely punked by a certain cinematic.

I wouldn't be surprised if that is why they left that conversation in the files so the biggest nerds would know it's a fakeout of a Sylvanas situation

    11.2 teaser trailer

Is a nice video, but it feels like Argus 2.0 all over again. Also the story is getting weird, now "She" is helping the heroes?. Meh.
I'm starting to think that I will be playing WoW again, once the next expansion is available.

She is helping herself, something that she does ever since we met her as a knife. Example, how she dealt with N'zoth.

Continuing with the focus on Xal's feet, lol.

    11.2 teaser trailer

I love the void vibes but I just don't like what the topic of the conversations are. It looks to me that they still didn't recover from the soap opera mode they use since dragon flight.
Overall the war within was a fail for me narratively and the setting is also very limited..
    Zorn | Vynd | Pheraz | Nuramon | Mondlicht | Eis | Blut | Astrophel - Plus 20 more...

Calling the setting limited is crazy when the biggest issue for this expansion is the insane whiplash of going from Launch to Undermine to Karesh.

    Some mentor he is.

"Hey, I was manipulated and betrayed by Xal'atath, but I'm not going to even mention it, until it is too late and she did the same to you a few times already."

Very likely yes, she has empty placeholder files for her VO lines, so likely a case of "planned but couldn't make it", probably due to the strike. Hopefully not an issue in 11.2, although that is still on the border of it being affected timing wise.

It went from 'people' to 'cinematic directors/creators' when after a few cinematics, it turned out that it is being done intentionally.
I will not reply to posts that are non-constructive or contain flaming and/or trolling.

Locus-Walker is a sneaky character since day one and people are now surprised that he was sneaky all this time.

She didn't betray Locus-Walker, hence his attitude here.

If a character has an iconic feature about them, why's not utilize it? American puritanism aside.

Yes, haha feet kink funny, but when people get weirded out it's annoying. No, the megacorporation is not doing anything beyond the safest of safehorny.

I mean, realistically, why would Locus-Walker bring up the fact that he was backstabbed by Xalatath at all anyway? Alleria already hates her , plus, they genuinely do need her in 11.2. It's not like Alleria was getting "closer" to Xal or anything that would warrant a word of precaution.

To be fair, there is no hint that he was backstabbed by Xal. Just going with the novel and no in-game spoilers, he was the one that came with the "lets turn all Ethereals into arcane energy" plan to save K'aresh.

Regarding LW, Xal taught Locus-Walker how to use the Reshii Ribbons to blow up Dimensius and turn everyone into Ethereals in the process, he just fucked it up and didn't kill him

So I don't see where she ever backstabbed him, unless I'm forgetting something big. To him, all she wants is to kill Dimensius so she doesn't have to serve him, ala Azshara
