Agreed. I’m bored of the Loa origin based animal races. I’m happy to see new beast races implemented, but I’d prefer to see them separate from the Loa/Wild Gods.

Water Nymphs would be very cool. I’d be content with some sort of Sea Elves too. Undines would be the ideal choice, though.

In fact, elemental races like you mentioned making up the core of Avaloren races would be pretty cool.

As you’ve already mentioned, Undines for water, Salamanders for fire, a feline race for air? I’m not sure what we could see for earth. Then I’d like to see a fifth race that are much more ethereal and mystical that could represent spirit?

Something that is humanoid without being an elf or an animal would be my preference. Maybe a somewhat monstrous mermaid creature like the ones in Harry Potter. Or it could even be something that is not humanoid; think an amphibious floating jellyfish race

And yes I know people love cat girls but can we just not? Please? Khajiit work because they have such a complex and interesting culture, plus they are veritable meme gods. Elsweyr is easily the best expansion for ESO (have not played the last one yet though) because the Khajiit just carry it.

Yeah my thought for a feline based race would be more in line with Khajit as opposed to cat girls. Nothing sexy about the ones I envision. I picture them to essentially be WoW’s take on Khajit. But instead of nomadic like the Khajit are, have these ones in WoW be more regal.

? If you think the Khajiit are nomadic you have no idea who the Khajiit are I guess you judge them from Skyrim. The Khajiit have some of the most populous cities on Tamriel; Rimmen, Torval and Senchal are each massive.

I don’t pretend to be an expert on Khajit culture. My experience of them comes from the mainline games Skyrim and Oblivion, where the Khajit we encounter are indeed nomadic travelling caravans, or assassins or thieves.

It's fine, just saying they are very different. And yeah the actual Khajiit culture in Elsweyr is very regal. I do think they would fit an Arabian Nights-themed WoW more than a Sumerian/Akkadian theme.

I somewhat doubt that. All it implied was one cosmic force would take the First Ones’ seat and rule the universe.

On-topic: OP’s point still stands. As fun as LvV may sound, it’s way too soon considering the game’s current lore development. No one wants another BfA.

Judging from PTR content I'm starting to lean towards mid to late November for 10.2. Month longer S2 also makes 4th raid less likely, since for sure this time they would want to make full season from fated raids.

My current guesses would be that:

    1. September - 10.1.7:
    - Forsaken/Nelf heritage
    - alts catch up for S3
    - Brewfest, Hallow's End, Anniversary update
    2. November - 10.2
    - Dream/Tree zone in western Ohn'Ahran Plains, raid, events, season, usual stuff
    - final DF boss - dual Fyrakk/Vyranoth fight, Vyranoth escapes at the end, Fyrakk lost control over shadowflame and dies
    - open world challenges with unique dragon skins as reward
    - Druid for everyone (with questline explaining especially Forsaken and Mechagnomes) beside Dracthyr
    - Winter Veil update
    3. January - 10.2.2
    - BfA timewalking, dungeons + extra stuff (horrific visions? PVP warfronts?)
    - in general big updates to timewalking - world content, LFR versions of raids or new rewards for doing them
    - Brawler's Guild
    - Shamans for everyone
    - Lunar Festival/Love is in the Air update
    4. March - 10.2.5
    - epilogue - dealing with Vyranoth and final questlines for DF
    - Vakthros megadungeon
    - Paladins for everyone
    - Troll/Draenei heritage
    - Noblegarden/Children's week update
    - alts catch up for S4
    5. May - 10.2.7
    - Season 4: fated raids, Vakthros split in two for M+ season
    - option to change your visage to every race for Evoker - once every reset (with option to switch between your new and original visage at any point)
    - Pandaren/Dracthyr heritage
    - Midsummer update
    - quick way to max your professions knowledge for completionists.
    6. Summer to October - Alpha, Beta, Pre-patch for 11.0, release same time as SL/DF.

Yes, in my schedule there is no room for 4th raid and 10.3, instead resources are switched to 2nd megadungeon. This way every M+ season has different dungeons and there are always at least 2 completely fresh. There is also no new zone after 10.2, still Forbidden Reach + Zaralek Caverns + Amirdrassil are most we ever got in any expansion (+ Dragon Isles alone are huge).

'Budget' version of that schedule would be getting rid of 2nd megadungeon and rehashing all 8 dungeons for S4.

And, why would you give me this mog...

    And not:

1: Give me legs to go with it
2: Let me hide the legs slot in transmog so I don't have to choose some shitty pants that don't really go well with it.
If you are nightborne this tabatd work pretty well without the chest piece of the herritage armor. Since they wont give us a robeless version, this is better then the nightborne tabard.

Have you not realized every set this expansion has used the different dragonflight's color schemes, creating an entire wardrobe of exchangeable pieces that all match? You can pair this with the blue versions of the crafted gear, the pvp gear (both seasons) and the raid gear (both seasons) and they match perfectly.

This is really good. The idea of a 2nd mega dungeon would be so exciting to everyone I am sure.

The Druid of the Flame stuff is getting pretty interesting.

It'd certainly be interesting, though I wonder what the focus of it would be.

Vyranoth and Fyrakk are not expansion end boss material.

There will for sure be a 10.3.

End boss will either be Murozond, Iridikron, Tyr, or Odyn.
