You don't need other stuff. It's a whole sub-continent with an Elven kingdom and the Amani lands included. They could generate enough variety out of it. It just needs to be upscaled (which will presumably happen).

You do need a variety in zone biomes and themes or people get burnt out (WoD, infamously). Elf, elf but decayed, and troll alone won't cut it for an expansion launch.

They could add plenty of new biomes, architectures, trees, colors, etc. We've never been into Amani lands proper, except for their capital. They could add a mountainous, snowy subzone at the border with the Plaguelands, etc.

There will probably be areas affected by the Void, as well.

Never doubt the art department to come with something new, not even on a task like fleshing-out Quel'thalas even further. As I said, it's a whole subcontinent. Enough could be brought up.

Shush. Leak season this year is pretty lukeward and dry. If Notheron fuels the discussion, let it.
Better that than another circle of Iridikron glazing or the class idea that most not be named.

Lucky for you, a large chunk of the area will be most likely fucked up by the void.
    So we already have
    - Purple Hell
    - Proper Elf lands
    - Decrepit elf land with undead
    - Troll land.

Nah, rather have better thought-out rumours/theories than unfounded bits like that. The premise is wrong. It's annoying.

Clearly with leak season underway, the water has been drained from both Delves.

WoD had a lot of diverse biomes. Snowy Frostfire Ridge, barren Gorgrond, twilight Darkmoon Valley, lush Taannan Jungle, serene Nagrand.

And it had decent enemy variety too. Orcs, ogres, Gronn (and adjacent), arakkoa, botani, demons.

How about just Xal, since thats what she is so far. And while i doubt the plan is to fire the big canon at her, theres nothing to suggest it wouldnt work - physical damage has worked just fine against pretty much any other type of void creature previously. From OGs, to dark Naaru, to voidwalkers, etc. All of them were defeated just by people hitting them hard enough with a big enough stick.

I'm also pretty sure a big part of the "orc fatigue" in wod was the fact that we had just spent the year prior in SoO and then had two more orc raid tiers after during a time where raiding was the only thing to do really

fatigue in that way would be a lot easier to avoid now with the addition of m+ and delves and open world content that could put the focus on other groups, especially delves which we could start sprinkling around the entire world to give players a break from just log on -> clear orc raid -> log off -> repeat

Frankly, orc fatigue started with Cataclysm with Thrall being in fucking everything and I don't recall many people being excited about the idea of him being the new Earth Aspect just because Metzen likes him.

And then came MoP where the end boss was Garrosh so a story about a brand new continent and culture was hijacked by orcs.
(A Common sentiment is that Lei Shen should have been the end boss. I personally like how the story went though)
And then we got an entire fucking expansion of orcs.

Similarly we got a Sylvanas fatigue after she was shown in three opening cinematics in a row. Not to mention how she got more unhinged and manifested more bullshit powers as the story went on.

One expansion is not enough for fatigue of a particular biome or race.

Yep, I looked at it and at once I recognized Diablo going to heaven in Diablo's body.

Granted that cinematic was badass AF and I wouldn't be surprised if the real one is a bit similar to that. Or the LoD cinematic.

Looks like the high heavens from Diablo 3, so very well might be real, just not from wow.
Evil only wins when it spreads. It can cause destruction, it can cause death—but those are consequences of its nature, not its victory. Not its goal. The danger of evil, the purpose of evil, is that it causes those who would oppose it to become evil also.

Midnight will be crossing over with Diablo? What a twist~! Looks like the treasure goblin event was more popular than I realized.

Guys, I vaguely remember someone posting those Void/Dimensius creatures around Blizzcon 2023 time and people dismissed it as AI. Gosh that was like 2 years ago? I also remember some pics they posted that looked a bit like K'aresh(?)
