I genuinely think people need to temper their expectations.

It's the 11th expansions. People should know by now that things are like they seem.

Blizzard never plays 5D chess, and never have. Midnight is going to be the end of the Void story-arc and TLT will deal with Titans.

I agree, it still blows my mind that the original plan was for Midnight to be a mid expansion patch, likely involving Beledar, and TWW was going to end with the Titans in the Coreway.

Yeah if people thought that BFA was rushed by using expansion scale concepts for single patches, imagine how this would've been treated.

TWW at least built up Dimensius from the start of the expac. If Midnight mentioned the Titans or summ like that at the beginning of the expac, then yeah, I'd understand your reasoning more. But like...idk. I think Midnight's main patches should be Light and Shadow based.

Tbf, TWW would have had a good buildup for Dimensius if they had released the karesh story BEFORE TWW, as it was supposed to be. But they went with "we want to sUrPr1Se p3opl3" instead.

While we don't know exactly what the original plan was, we know that what the war within was to be, was considered "too big" or rather grand a concept to meaningfully fit into one expansion. But instead stretched and expanded into the saga.

Presumably the Earthen would of had the Titans bad part, the arathi and hallowfall the midnight part. But to what extent truly we will probably never know. But the original war within ending with the death of Xal, and reveal the Titans are lying about things is rightfully probably too grand to fit in one expansion.

I think they've made the right choice, and it seems to be paying off. But this is also coupled with good content cadence, and more insistence that wow isn't going anywhere and they're planning with that in mind. Systems like housing having a dedicated team and being separate from the main story but evergreen is great.

It's also allowed us to have some fan favourite zones like Undermine and K'aresh. While neither will probably ever be confirmed as what we got instead of the original plan, they did say in an interview that the saga change 'allowed them to explore other fan favourite alternatives' or something along those lines. I can't find the specific interview for this. Undermine was great. I hope K'aresh is pulled off as well.

I personally think its more likely Undermine was the zone that was not in the original plan, if not both that and K'aresh. But that's just my opinion.

It may even be that the original war within may have only scratched the surface of the 'titan conspiracies' and we'll now be getting a lot more on that in TLT. Overall, getting more in depth stories and lore is good IMO.

It's possible if my theory that the novel runs parallel to TWW is correct: It says the legion holdout happens "after the events of khaz algar" only the first raid regards the events of khaz algar, so I propose that's just the first part of the novel & happens before the events on K'aresh. We'll probably see what Arator is doing before and After the battle with Dimensius. This would be consistent with the 3 previous wow Novels, each consisting of parts at wildly different points in time.

Pretty sure they will end the void arc by the mid of midnight and pull something unrelated in the third patch like they have being doing so far.

Midnight look barren and repetitive, its like coming from 3 patchs of hellfire bs in wod right into Legion, with all the fell crap, but now is void.

I heard some people talking they would destroy silvermoon at the start, like they did with dalaran, did any leaks came up?

Legion was absolutely Epic and i couldn't care less how many fel patches were there leading up to it. Yeah maybe 5 out of 100 ppl can get bored of same aesthetics back to back, but what matters is gameplay and storytelling.

I think the bridge is us 'loosing' in Midnight and calling the Titans ourselves.

However, Azshara going after Elune could be interesting. I'd rather her be featured in a Night Elf storyline as opposed to Quel'thalas.

Legion was absolutely Epic and i couldn't care less how many fel patches were there leading up to it. Yeah maybe 5 out of 100 ppl can get bored of same aesthetics back to back, but what matters is gameplay and storytelling.

Wether you specifically had a problem with it or not (i personally didnt have too much of a problem with it as well) is not really relevant for the fact that the complaints about it were very real back then. First, it was about orcs, with a year of SoO leading directly into the full-blown orc xpac, and then it was fel-green stuff, with the entire culminating patch of WoD leading directly into the full-blown BL expac.

Sure, but the item is not obtainable on the PTR and seems to be slated for 11.2.5.

The only exclusion from Gleeful Glamours are dracthyr because of their armor constraints. It doesn’t make sense for them to be excluded, yet Ethereals included if the plan wasn’t to allow them the ability to wear armor at some point in the future.

Speaking of Amani, if we get a Zul'Aman zone (please, Blizzard, please oh please), the zone storyline should involve the resurrection of Zul'jin.

For real, have the Zandalari come over, have them be like "hmmm, our amani cousins are in dire straits, they're in danger of being devoured by dark powers, we can't have a repeat of Zul'Drak, they need something to unite them and give them hope" and carry out some Thunder King-style resurrection ritual.

Bring him back! Give him both arms even! Now is the time!

But sadly, given the current state of the narrative. I think he's going to get scapegoated by some younger, forest troll visionary leader. We'll learn that the Amani are actually peaceful people and Zul'jin forced them into war and he was wrong for hating the elves for stealing their land.

On a serious note if the Gamescom art is taste of the cinematic, the void invasion will happen fast and be heavy hitting.

Maybe we'll need what the void fears soon, maybe they will actually go full throttle into the undead being resistant.

He is not at De Other Side, he is at Revendreth. So don't place your hopes high.

Most we can hope is his daughter, good and clever gal, who want nothing but peace. And her secret friend and lover - Blood Elf ranger.

Saga means all 3 expansions. Personally I don't need 9 patches of Xal and void.

I agree. But i'm also not the biggest fan of the void. In the end i think the transition from void -> titan will be quite soft.

They already did that to Zul'jin. The amani loa had forsaken Zul'jin, probably because he was more focused on vengeance than helping his people.
