It's time for beards. Troll beards. Elf beards. Goblin beards. Undead beards. I will not stand for this absurd lack of facial hair any longer.

I'm optimistic for many reasons, but mainly due to the comments on improving "new player experience" which begins on character creation.

But also due to how hero talents were received. Whether it was intentional or not, the blizzcon preview led people to believe it would be more visual than it was, and I think that has bit them on the butt a bit.

I don't think they expected the amount of controversy that hero talents got over this, and also listing a couple of hair colours as a road map feature and it literally being a handful for one race at a time.

Seems like the planets in Dimensius's Broken World ability are Void corrupted ones as well (Unless Blizzard's hiding other planetary designs in the files? But I doubt it).

I disagree that the last customization pass "just happened".

At some point in the saga I hope they address the difference in goals between the Void Lords and Old Gods because it seems important

Void Lords want to consume everything and worldsouls being a prime target for them to become more powerful

Old Gods on the other hand seem designed to infest and incubate a new void creature out of an existing worldsoul

Their end goals are diametrically opposed.

Looking at Audio Files, it seems like the post-raid dungeon story is that Xalatath takes the Reshii Ribbons the Soulscribe has been collecting (because she wants to destroy the Ravel) under the guise of "destroying Dimensius for good".

She whispers to the Soulscribe at first before showing herself.

Edit: The more i listen to the voice lines, the more it seems Alleria becomes incredibly unhinged. Dunno if that's setting something up

We've been doing this shit for the longest time now, the fact people need to be shown threats destroying planets to finally get the picture is mind boggling to me.
I really hope that after TLT there is a reset in our power and that the story becomes more "terrenal".

I hate that mere mortals are able to face a Void Lord, even if it would disintegrate us without the Reshii Ribbons.

We have always been powered up or helped when facing a major threat, but this is too much. I wonder what would help us defeat the Titans or, as you said, even Sargeras. Probably other Titans or Azeroth herself.

At this point, no big fish is safe in WoW.
Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive.

This expansion, we fought a big spider and a goblin. Last expansion we fought a big dragon, a small dragon, and a big dragon.

I understand that Dimensius is next, but let's not act like every single enemy we fight is a Titan or a Void Lord.

Beards for Dwarven beards. And Dwarven women.

So, apparently, the planet that explodes is as big as a Mage Water Orb in the baseline animation. Meaning, it might either be bigger in the actual game, or it's literally a fucking Endsinger situation, which I'd LOVE!

Here is the size of a Mage Water Orb

I mean, people are trusting Xal'atath left and right so yeah, gaslight, gatekeep, girlboss got Alleria good.

Pretty sure those Reshii Ribbons bits come before the Manaforge raid, no? Xal uses them at the entrance.

Also, it wouldn't hurt if you actually posted those quotes :P

That happens during the campaign. As does Alleria getting flabbergasted because she can't believe Locus Walkers actions, both in the past and the current.

I am hoping for a "trials of the twelve"-like event for TLT, where we battle each Titan and prove to them we're more than capable of handling ourselves. It'll likely be the Titans Power Vs Azeroth's Power (With us as the wielders of said power).

Crazy to me people would blame her
"Wait, you knew this bitch who kept trying to kill me and killed so many of friends?"
"Wait, she is the one who made you all mummies??"
"Wait, she convinced you to blow up your own planet???"

Alleria must have facepalmed so hard at Locus Walker, she got a concussion.

What is there to facepalm over? Locus-walker did the correct thing in the past and the circumstances of K'aresh's fall would have contributed zero useful information to Alleria's hunt or our fight against the Algari forces under Xal'atath.

  16. #94896
Yeah, like I can see why Alleria would be upset at him, but at the same time, there was no real reason for Locuswalker to bring up anything Karesh related to Alleria because all it would do is make him seem sus to her, and realistically, the likelyhood of it ever being revealed was so slim that might as well keep it to yourself.

I mean, I don't think anyone in the campaign is "trusting" her per se, it's just that you are picking between maybe getting killed by her, or definitely getting killed by Dimensius

Was it addressed in the book why they didn't focus on evacuating the K'areshi vs trying to stay there/kill Dimensius?

Part of me thinks Xal just manipulated LW into thinking he NEEDED to kill Dimensius so she could take over in his stead, of course, but he thought she just wanted to be freed from his service

Exactly this; the K'areshi absolutely managed to flee in space. They stayed imprisoned melting under radiation and never considered getting out? Unless that was also a tech they got from Xal. By TBC they can manage dimensional travel with apparent ease. They somehow can teleport an entire city in and out of a different plane of existence.

Putting aside for the moment that the K'areshi as a race specifically have extremely stringent oaths that they adhere to, "just ditch your planet, lol" isn't a great argument. What would this even have accomplished? Being largely planar-nomads exactly where they are right now, but with their home planet completely gone?

They were slowly wasting away trapped in a cage of their own making. So I don't know, maybe getting away from that.
