The next 6 months could be really good for Blizzard and fans of Warcraft.

    - The Classic community will have their hands full with Mists of Pandaria (one of the best expansions) and potential news of some type of Classic+ mode.

    - We're getting Legion Remix (another one of the best expansions) with some neat transmogs. Can't wait to set foot in Highmountain again.

    - Player Housing launches, which is obviously revolutionary and (barring any unforseen mishaps in terms of design or bugs) should provide another way to invest yourself in the game. Just imagine a revamped corner of Elwynn Forest. Gives me chills. I hope the music's good.

    - The big Midnight reveal, which is starting to feel like BlizzCon to be honest.

    - The alpha datamining asset dump once Midnight servers upen to the public in September or October.

    - 11.2.5 and 11.2.7 (which at this point are almost starting to feel like too much) with potential goodies in the form of Ethereals and more.

    - Lest we forget, some of the best annual holiday events like Hallow's End, the 21st Anniversary, and Feast of Winter Veil. which come with some sweet new cosmetics.

    Let's go!

While running alts through content with the collection buff thing I got to thinking how I was really disappointed that Elisande's hat wasn't like a transmog option from Timewalking.

I'm holding out hope for Legion Remix. Maybe her shoulders and belt too, ala Archimonde in WoD?

    A man can dream.

Anyway, I'm honestly really excited to what will be shown at Gamescom since they'll be at the opening night showing. They're gonna knock it out of the park there.

I have a massive gut feeling that Legion Remix is going to give us a ton of Nightborne cosmetics for 2 reasons: they're incredibly high in player demand, and it gives them more armor kits to give NPCs in Midnight since Nightborne are sure to play a part.

Speaking of Nightborne, since Remix is kinda-sorta canon with Eternus leading those adventures, i wonder if they'll make AU Elisande pop up.

Legion -> BFA -> SL are intrinsically linked and I would say are a saga, yet every single one of these expansions are a self-contained story that you can look at on their own and have a story that flows. Before all the "Shadowlands bad!" jokesters show up, I am not saying it's necessarily a good experience, but it is a fully told story.

TWW simply doesn't really have that? Black Blood and Harronar are just simply ignored, the Titan Archives are not (and will not be) acknowledged in any way. Literally nothing about Beledar.

People use this whole "But it's a trilogy!" thing as a crutch for bad pacing.
legion's link to bfa is in a book
like it was literally just "hey we teamed up to beat the legion"
then "oh we want this super powerful stuff lets do these obviously hinky things to eachother"
    then the war of thorns

    rest was in a book

Does it matter? And, really, it wasn't. Sylvanas was set up in Legion -> BfA is 50% about Sylvanas -> Shadowlands is entirely about Sylvanas.

Just like The Worldsoul Saga is primarily following the Worldsoul, The Fourth War Saga is following Sylvanas.

That'd be very nice to have if Midnight does come with a Spellblade/Spellbreaker class like I'm hoping, too. Suramar was so full of different takes on that archetype that I'd consider it the Nightborne's most iconic fighting style, so it'd benefit a lot for fitting Nightborne transmogs.

The Midnight reveal is happening at pax east next month, they've already confirmed that, unless you're referring to something else.

Hey Marlamin, is there anything pointing to the Midnight box rewards? I feel like we had some hints to the TWW items ahead of time.

The Midnight reveal will be at the Gamescon in Germany (EU) 2025—August 19! Not at Pax est...
Argus in 2018 My prediction failed in part... But I'm still a Spacegoat

Probably, I haven't looked at the contents of any still encrypted keys outside of "this has a item set", "this has a mount", etc. Haven't tied any to a pre-order or anything.

Yeah I'm just curious about the amount of items, if there will be a lot of armors ala the Skyrider tints, etc.

No way to tell which things are tied to the pre-order and which are tied to like a store set/mount or something (without looking deeper). We'll find out soon enough, probably!

Why do people keep saying this. We had Dragonflight s4 & MoP remix at the same time. We'll probably get Legion Remix & TWW s4 in 11.2.7

OMG!!! Guys, what if they focus every patch/x.0 on a single race/culture for the whole saga??

11.0 - Earthen (a bit of Nerubeans if I may add)
    11.1 - Goblins
    11.2 - Kareshi (Ethereals)

    12.0 - Blood Elves/Elves
Be loyal to what matters - Arthur Morgan

I'm on EU Region, Btag Foulis#2823 if you wanna add me <333

I wonder if Zul'drak and the Drakkari will have a bit of a spotlight in parts of TLT with all the assets they'll have from the Amani. You also have to figure them and the Taunka are both original children of Azeroth, I wonder if they'll explore that dynamic at all.

Do you seriously think I just made up the idea that bad actors might use my criticism as fodder for their own crusade? Or is your argument that I shouldn't care because there's some sort of absurd purity to the act of criticism itself that protects me from the reality that my words are being twisted by a bad actor?

Speaking of my words being twisted by a bad actor, no, nobody is making that argument. I was sharing that I personally am sometimes afraid of sharing criticism about particular topics in particular spaces because I've experienced it being used as fuel for assholes and that makes me uncomfortable. I don't enjoy it. That's it.

I have strong conviction in my opinions and have no problem sharing them in appropriate spaces where I know I'm not going to be congratulated by Nazis for having a glimpse into their Truth. Funnily enough, the fact that posters here have a much stronger propensity for antagonistically misrepresenting a comment makes me much more comfortable.

I think people like you should really think about when you use that word. It's like racism, if you use it so often and for nothing, the word loses all meaning.

It's honestly not very intelligent or respectful to all those who suffered from that madness back then. Seriously, choose your words carefully, it's truly shameful.

If they're going to reuse amani assets for the drakkari, I hope they only reuse skeletons and other featureless components. The gurubashi, amani, drakkari, and zandalari deserve to have their own unique aesthetics with basic overlaps to show their shared ancient culture.

I've advocated for Zul'drak being blown off the map before, mostly because I don't know how the drakkari could fit with their numbers where they are (and I hated questing in Zul'drak -- it has two of the worst quests in the game, and one of them was a goddamn daily). But I guess there's probably a lot they could do, even writing in that the scattered ice trolls around the world have travelled to Northrend to rebuild the drakkari empire. I think some of them actually already have?

I'm still anticipating the proto-trolls we were promised in Dragonflight. I would be OK with them actually coming from Northrend if that means we get some lore about the giant snake in Zul'drak and/or the giant wind serpent skeletons around Azeroth.

I always forget about the taunka. They could definitely use a lot of development.

Yeah, my bad, I'll think twice next time before I call the guy with 1488 in his username a Nazi. Very intelligent and respectful.
