Anyone else notice that the Cinematic murozond uses an updated model?
No way blizz.gonna make a new model for just a cinematic and not an encounter.

Got me some juicy details about the future of WoW.
There will be no patch 10.3. Patch 10.2 will launch right after Blizzcon. Patch 10.2.5 will be the last content patch. The expansion ends with a megadungeon where we fight Xal’atath. She wins and resurrects Galakrond, which causes ‘the second Cataclysm’.
The next expansion will be called Tides of Darkness.
Theme: Void invades Azeroth, main antagonist is Azshara
Setting: South Seas + EK/Kalimdor (light revamp)
Some important characters: Thrall, Yrel, Iridikron, Azshara, Illidan, Sargeras
New races: Vrykul for Alliance and Mok’nathal for Horde
Fourth specs for original classes (example shaman tank spec)
New mount types such as underwater mounts and boats
Class halls return

I would not call BFA south seas. There was certainly some island themes and such but not that much South seas if at all. It was mostly Alliance vs Horde some pirate themes, trolls, a lot of war then Old God Shennigans. Its not like we did a lot of sea exploration(Island expeditions sure but you barely stayed there).

Glances at Deathwing's humanoid model in Cataclysm
Well ok not a cinematic but I mean they sure did make that and only ended up using it in that one questline, really.
Underwater mounts have existed since Cataclysm. Almost 13 years ago.

To be fair they did have more plans for the deathwing model with there being a quest on the beta where he meets Alex using it and you fight him in it before they fight in dragon form in the twilight highlands.
All of that was cut though excluding the dragon fight of course.

Evil only wins when it spreads. It can cause destruction, it can cause death—but those are consequences of its nature, not its victory. Not its goal. The danger of evil, the purpose of evil, is that it causes those who would oppose it to become evil also.

Have to agree. Despite how gorgeous the Dragon Isles zones are, they lack that certain je ne sais quoi, for me. Very attractive to look at, and were very fun to explore at first. But despite their size, they lacked that sense of immersion and wonder for me.
I’m sure several here will disagree, but they don’t compare to the Broken Isles, Zandalar, Kul’Tiras and Draenor for me.
Dragon riding is a huge positive. I think it’s one of the best additions to the game. However, the zones could definitely be designed better to both accommodate and enhance it.

Whoever wrote the Blue Dragonflight questline needs to have a promotion so they can write the main story.
