They need to redo tanaris and add a weird mad max faction of gnomes with grimy/gritty customizations you can unlock for xmog and gnome racial customization by earning renown with them. They have a brutal tech/racing/junk town existing in opposition to gadgetzan. Would also help use up some of the mostly unused spaced of tanaris, give strength back to the faction conflict, give the zone more narrative focus, and given gnomes another identity to pull from.

All the races except humans are a hivemind in WoW, but even gnome exclusive.
But they do probably suffer the 2nd most, behind Tauren

Sometimes wearing less clothing is needed VIA agility and whatnot. To assume said thing only exists VIA sex appeal is a bit dishonest, even if somewhat true in its own way.

Almost wonder whether the developers tried to hide it after realizing it made the Horse seem irredeemable.

Why would they need to be redeemed? If they kept the original plot line instead of the Shadowlands bullshit, Sylvanas was waging the war to end all wars. Horde peace through conquest. It was cool.

We don't need everything to be about who is moral, we just need everyone to feel like they win sometimes, and maybe the friendship power hour victory condition isnt the only winning outcome.

This game feels so much less immersive when we know how it will end every time, who will be the victors and who will be the losers, who's going to be right and who's going to be wrong. That's not at all how things actually work and when you have a game of this size it needs better macro world building mechanics.

Why do you think Alleria and Sylvanas wore less clothing before? Cause wearing armor can kinda mess with ones flexibility and agility, especially in ranged combat. Ofc this would change overtime, but I'd argue a lot of that is due to power increases and/or status changes. Jaina is a perfect example of wearing more clothes VIA status changes and whatnot.

There's a reason the Horde side of Vanilla feels so unfinished compared to Alliance, because it wasn't the main priority.

It's incredibly weird anyway because the Horde/Alliance version are completely different, which would be fine if they make it a POV-type thing but it's not.

Because if you play the Horde side, it doesn't actually seem that bad, but then you play the Alliance side and it's just Warcrime after Warcrime from the Horde.

This isn't really true. If you read about medieval armor types, things like plate, etc., were actually pretty mobile. That's sort of a fantasy game trope we've all internalized.

Archers often had lighter armor and didn't have like shoulder pieces but they definitely didn't have boob windows or exposed midriffs. That would be suicide.

It was mostly because of the era the artists back then came out of. 1980s punk, metal, and rock, and aesthetics from even kids shows back then, played it really lose with body stuff.

I wish we had some of that back for all genders. Not necessarily forced, but as options.

With the way the intro questlines are, it's physically impossible.

They literally created a 2 minute "starting experience" for allied races dk's in Shadowlands, they can do the same for new DH's.

People should be careful about hyping themselves up too much for the potential of exciting Midnight stuff between now and the announcement. Not because it's unlikely to happen, but because we already know so much about Midnight that most stuff that would have been huge news in past cycles is now not even notable.

I'm aware of the mobility regarding medieval plate armor (Shit, WoW takes advantage of that, which is part of why plate wearers are so fucking dangerous lore-wise). However, there is a reason for why not many rangers IRL wore a ton of it lol. Beyond mobility, they had to be silent, as well as other things.

I'm betting that we get the actual pre order details fully leaked today/tomorrow. I personally trust who datamined them but maybe we'll get a Blizzard API leak as is tradition.

I hope we get someone from Gamescom posting a poster or something. I wouldn't want everything leaked until the day off because I like the discussions we have on here.

Just accept that midnight is going to be housing + 4 zones, 8 dungeons, 8 boss raid + some fluff and some new class gameplay.
Anything else would be a bonus. Feel like people are hyping this one up way too much.
