You know .... all these "china only" promotions start to annoy me .... either release everything for all shops (china can get it earlier and keep the lottery system), or atleast give us the items via trading post or some other promotion. Region locked stuff always sucked ...

You know I'm willing to bet China is a testbed for what's coming to US and EU. I wouldn't be surprised if they announced classic+ with changes to classes and new content and then did a progression to tbc and wotlk.

But retail most likely getting shattered timelines which is basically diablo world tier system is exciting to me if done right. I guess we'll see how it turns out in Remix.

Just accept that midnight is going to be housing + 4 zones, 8 dungeons, 8 boss raid + some fluff and some new class gameplay.
Anything else would be a bonus. Feel like people are hyping this one up way too much.

I don't buy it, housing is a separate team. I think they are gonna experiment a lot with hero talents. Shattered timelines, more customization options, and we already know they have different game modes in the work.

I'm not going full copium myself but I'm expecting more then what you said honestly.

In his defense, Blizzard removed paintings of sexy women and replaced them with fruits. It does seem that they went overboard in distancing themselves from the breastmlik drinking fratboys.
I do hope we can get to a point where Blizzard has a healthy relationship with sexuality and attractive people.

That would be on-brand timeline wise, but Gamescom is getting pretty close and if the 11.2.5 announcement contains any hints in terms of what happens next, they might want to hold-off until the big Gamescom drop.

Regarding miniscule piece of evidence, they hotfixed in the Enhanced Level 80 Character Boost into the 11.2 PTR last night with the exact same wording, so that does back up the pre-order leak a bit, although given it is the same wording as last year it doesn't mean -that- much. The leak already got stamped as trustworthy regardless, just with likely some placeholder mount/pet/transmog set names which made it not as interesting.

Yeah, maybe there's a press thing in the next week or so, who knows. They did do 11.2 interviews that were a bit "off the schedule" and unusual in terms of timing/who they did it with, so maybe they did that so they can have another round next week with different outlets. No clue.

I'm aware of the mobility regarding medieval plate armor (Shit, WoW takes advantage of that, which is part of why plate wearers are so fucking dangerous lore-wise). However, there is a reason for why not many rangers IRL wore a ton of it lol. Beyond mobility, they had to be silent, as well as other things.

Yes, but this doesn't really align with the argument that early wow aesthetic decisions on armor design for female (and sometimes male) armor was about practical combat application. It was to align with the aesthetics those artists had their imaginations formed in. The absence of any armor or even coverings in key places like chest, abdomen, the sides of the torso, etc., in older gear was about aesthetics, not some 4D armor design philosophy. For the most part the places armor would be lighter IRL still had padding, leather, or at least cloth covering, and it wasn't commonly in these vital areas as far as I am aware. If you find anything to the contrary, I'd ask you confirm if the examples you reverse Google are exceptions rather than the rule.

Also, this is ok. This does not make those options bad. I think we should have more of it. It's a T game, after all.

Legion is still the strongest opening for an expansion for me. Starting with losing on the Broken Shore in that amazing scenario. And then really feeling the Legion invasion in the old zones until we climatically escape Legion bombardment in Dalaran.

Legion is good but something about it doesn't click as much for me as WoD's does. I dunno, maybe its partly because I'm such a mark for Draenei and Draenor that it resonates as well as it does.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but those red panda pets/mounts were China-only for a moment too, weren't they? I know one had special function that we didn't get though. And then we got them through various methods.

Wouldn't surprise me if we see these filter over to us over time.
