Part of the reason is that Battlegrounds are like ducks.
Man you guys are arguing semantics, it's definitely coming, even their interviews are a dead giveaway, "nothing to announce but it'd be cool".
I'm more interested to see if we get any new Ethereal info by next week, I want them playable to bad, curious to see what happens to the Soul Scribe.
Damn where did you get this from? I thought the Eco Dome cinematic comes after the raid no? Unless I'm remembering it wrong. Gotta say though, there's a whole lot of empty space in the bottom left of the new map aha.

how is that a noob trap? If anything it would make things easer.
Want to tank? take plate
Want to heal? take mail
Want to dps with weapons? take leather
Want to dps with magic? take cloth
That is very straight forward and easy to understand.
It would also open up things like, tanks and healers using dps pieces when doing solo stuff without the need to swap to a different spec. It would also change PvP drastically, as tanks could be better at dealing damage or dps being tougher.

Compared to: equip this armor, which is what we have right now?
Your system would make sense if specs didn't exist and also there was no holy trinity.
Why would a DPS possibly ever go for plate or mail?
Healing/Tanking would turn into an annoying as fuck process to find out what the right threshold of Healing/Tanking gear is before you can go all in DPS.
What's the baseline? If a healer goes entirely into DPS, would they just do no damage at all? If they still do respectable healing, how much damage would they do?
How do you convey what each armor type does? As a new player, if I get four choices of armor, I will take the coolest looking one, and that might mean that I will take Healing pieces as a Mage.
Hybrid stuff doesn't work in WoW. Even Disc has been toned back from being "half a DPS" (in so much that they pretty much do the same damage as other healer).
Im probably being dumb here but i just did this new dungeon, does it happen after the main quests on ka'resh?
Because chapter 3(max we can do now) of questline ends very differently compared to what happens in this dungeon.

I'm praying that a new island pops up in the bottom left of Karesh to serve as the Ethereal starting zone. It makes so much sense and explains the Broker focus at the start.
I believe it's chronologically after the raid.

Especially following Eco-Dome Al'dani. Actually, is Eco-Dome Al'dani even on the map? There's Eco-Dome Primus, The Oasis and the ruins of another Eco-Dome. Very strange that it's just nowhere to be found by players, especially considering its lore importance.
Former holiest site on the planet for followers of the Worldsoul, large area of regrowth outside of an Eco-Dome, final boss of dungeon still lives? It's bound to have a follow up.
Read the thread, the vast majority of posters in that thread thought I was crazy for stating that Evokers were getting a third spec.
It changes it because when 10.1.5 PTR was announced, the new spec was announced with it. Also that thread predates 10.1's release which was May 2, 2023. We were talking about a potential Evoker 3rd spec before 10.1 and Aberrus was even released.Granted, I forgot it was in 10.1 and not 10.1.5, but that doesn't change anything LMAO.
The point is that the last time a two-spec class got stuff like this, we got a new spec. This isn't like the Tyr quest line, playable Tuskarr, NE Paladins, etc.
No, it's like Evokers getting Augmentation in 10.1.5.

We do see Venari with the Tabiqa dagger in Al'dani in the Patch Trailer, which is interesting.
The Soul-Scribe bit and the ethereal priest are based on comments I've seen others make in here. Apparently Scribe doesn't die at the end. Also, we've been told the Eco-dome take place after the thread and the unknown epilogue take place after it based on dev info.
Rest is conjecture. Just feels like it's pointing towards something. Like, we've stopped the inevitable second doom of K'aresh and Nari is working on the Eco-domes aswell. I could see the ethereals salvaging what's left of the landmasses and revive and fortify them via their magitek. Plus Tazavesh is just chilling there too![]()

With the possibility of returning to place introduced within the Saga, I wonder if they're leaving the door open for a questline back in K'aresh where we look for some technomancy help to revitalize parts of Azeroth following Midnight. Maybe looking for that sort of help sans Titans.

I think it is Xal'atath faking it, but I think that K'aresh will still communicate for us. I don't think they'll ever outright say Xal tricked us/Wastelanders, but it's implied, so you can read into finally hearing K'aresh however you interpretted the prior scene.
At least that's what I thought.
why? nothing would really change for specs or the trinity in 99% of cases. What it would do is allowing people at the high end to get a few points more dps from healer and tanks that can swap some pieces for dps pieces.
And you argument is too focused on dungeons/raids. We have solo content with delves and PvP who could massively benefit from that.
Balance is a non-factor in this type of discussion, as blizzard is quite good at it, regardless of people claiming otherwise.
And you thin new players don't know what a healer or dps is? i think you have no idea how new player actually play.
