As long as they change Racials and the tooltip of the actual race. Obviously voice and all that other stuff.

why? take a blood elf, make its faction tag "faction=alliance", done, you have a high elf. Nothing else needs to change. a alliance blood elf, can keep the exact same racials as a horde blood elf, and they would pass 100% as a high elf.

There's no reason for Blood Elves to get void transformations. How would that happen? Why would it be only them? Did they drink from the void Sunwell or something? When the Scourge attacked and corrupted the Sunwell, they didn't slowly start becoming zombies, they were going crazy due to the lack of connection with the Sunwell.

High Elves should join the Alliance because they're already an Alliance race and this is the perfect opportunity for that. Give them new racials, new voices, enough exclusive customization options to make them different from Void Elves and Blood Elves and there you go.

that leak gave a reason. Void attack, and if you play the void elf intro, yeah, that could be enough, to create new void elves. Also, we got undead elves when the scourge attacked. Remember Sylvanas, the other dark rangers and darkfallen?

Getting Void Elves twice does sound like an odd choice if you consider that the difference between High and Blood Elf is pretty much an ideological one at best.
But I wouldn't mind getting worgen multiple times if it comes with different racials.
No offense to the currently playable ones, but if we have playable werewolves, I want to properly wolf out.

I'm super late to party on this one, but just noticed 'Gleeful Glamour - Ethereal' from enchanting is for raid renown 8 - so around 11.2.5, right?

..are we getting both Ethereals and 3rd DH at same time?

And that is why this wouldn't work. You don't understand why people who want High Elves are still asking for them. Look at the official forums, Void Elves aren't enough even though visually they can pass as High Elves just fine.

But they are not, and neither are Blood Elves.

no, that part, is why you are wrong. Void Elves can only pass at a distance, in non-combat as a high elf. But tentacle emo hair, and racials that turn you void are the issue. Blood Elves have generic arcane abilities (that also fit high elves), that don't change how you look. That's why blood elves would work, while void elves failed.

But you can remove the tentacle hair and not use the racials.

ah, yeah, Alleria seemed more harended towards Locus-Walker during the campaign, so it makes kind of sense. And Xal'atath not becoming the All-devouring is also, quite refreshing, actually.

the racials activate at random during combat, and the hair is still emo. I tried to make a void elf and roleplay as a high elf on the alliance. It was always looking wrong when it turned to void randomly.

We literally have a youtube short in 2 different languages from Blizzard themselves that essentially confirm High Elves to a degree.. if there's a will there's a way, I think it'll happen.

What about the ones that lived in Dalaran. They never even gave them the Belf voices to make sure people can tell the difference. There's NPC's in SW that are like that.

Yeah there's Dalaran and there's also Quel'lithien Lodge. Like I said, I kinda do support the desire for playable Helves and don't think it'd be a stretch to add them, but it hasn't happened so far and, on the contrary, Blizz has been adding lore stuff to make it even more difficult to justify their inclusion.

I Don't know, all the pieces were there for tuskar too, but the big space in k'aresh map is weird.
