Yes. Something very off with that considering what his job title is.

He's not the lead developer or lead storyteller, he's the guy in charge of all aspects of the Warcraft brand. He's pretty #2 who should be there behind the company President considering it's all about Warcraft.

It's like Donald Trump doing an emergency press conference and JD Vance isn't there, something's not right.

Speaking of which. Why is there technically no main city in Pandaria? Like, they don't have an actual capital as a race.

unfortunately i don't see any other exp where a witch style class could be added, just in midnight maybe they could fit, for affinity with shadow and all. certainly they would make witch doc mixed with drusts, imo they did drusts exactly to be a counterpart in ally of the trolls magic.

Well, Heavensward came with 3 jobs added.
Then again FFXIV jobs only have one spec
Then again all of the jobs come with their own unique weapon type and questline with cutscenes and all.

It is hard to compare the two.

Anyway I feel like if Denathrius returns with a vampire army that expansions could be a suitable time for all sorts of gothic stuff with focus on drust witches, the forsaken and the worgen.

If I recall, Metzen used to get crazy anxiety over BlizzCon in the past. If you look carefully you can see him struggling from time to time.

I don't recall if it was about showing up on stage but he is on the record that he was getting extremely bad anxiety attacks in general while working at Blizzard, which led to his then retirement.

I wouldn't blame him for being anxious in this situation too.

They probably didn't want to emulate the Mogu. Even the Emperor of Pandaria has changed from Hozen to Jinyu to Pandaren the closest thing that could be considered a capital is Dawn's Blossom.

Agreed! Holly's Alexstrasza custome was amazing last Blizzcon.

Also Ion has really grown on me, especially after watching his Nordic game conference.

Holly is great and so is Ion. Love those guys. It'd be nice to see Metzen more than once every 1-2 years but it is what it is. Happy he's back guiding the story at least.
