It'd be the most underwhelming solution.
All it would "solve" is the sensibilities of a handful of players that want Silvermoon straight away as a capital.

The most sensible and narratively effective solution would be to have updated Silvermoon become a capital again once the invasion narrative is over.
Everything else dilutes the story.

Idk how people expect for the Sunwell to get Void-stormed without Xal needing to march through Silvermoon first.
Or that the Sunwell would get invaded without that having a major adverse effect on the rest of Quel'thalas.

Xal sure as fuck isn't gonna "destroy everything Alleria loves" by containing her invasion on a tiny island, keeping it away from everything else.

How would that even lead to a reunification?
The Regency isn't going to drop their disdain for Helves and Velves if there isn't an actual need to do so.

They've shown that before. I mentioned it some pages back, but some people always jump to the assumption that it is coming to Xbox since WoW is shown during Xbox panels and the like. It is because of their acquisition by Microsoft that it appears there, nothing more.
