I think he'll take over using Prime Designate powers and a portion of the Keepers siding with him or being programmed to do so. Tyr and Freya will be our buddies of course.

I hope and expect so many interviews that should shed light on a lot of info they put out in the systems panels.

Also Delves having 1h45m is crazy to me, I don't wanna go off topic but that leak that mentioned all old dungeons turned into delves would be something aha. Either way I'm curious how they make Delves more interesting and more of the competitive scene players involved. I'm more casual now but used to raid m+ wod-legion days and I can see both sides perspective.
Don't get your hopes up too much on them actually playing new delves or anything, I don't think there is any 12.0 content playable (housing doesn't count). It'll just be gameplay of existing delves, probably.

Knowing modern Blizzard events, here's what I'm now expecting:

    > The cinematic and gameplay trailer will deliver. We will wish there was the usual What's Next panel afterwards to sate our appetite but at least the website will contain some new information.

    > The world and story panel will spend 10 minutes slowly going over things we already know about Xal'atath and the events leading up to Midnight. Twitch chat will spew vitriol over how terrible this is. Then they'll explain each zone/faction like they did last time, and how the Voidstorm impacts Azeroth. They'll tell us a bit about the elves and what's going on there.

    > For the systems panel, Ion will spend 10 minutes explaining his reasoning behind a thing that did not go so well 5 years ago (bless him), before giving us a 5 minute overview of Player Housing info we already know. The remaining 15 min will give us a glimpse at new Hero Talents, whatever new features they have in store for us, and (hopefully) the new class or spec. We'll all feel equally excited and bummed out, knowing we have to wait another few weeks for more information.

    > The two interviews will provide answers to some questions Blizzard never thought about answering in their press material, such as customisation, Warband updates, and race/class combos.

Then, boom, once Alpha hits, that's when we piece together the juicy details with datamining.

It's possible! And a healed Ghostlands + Tranquilien could just be more of Eversong.

SMC likely wouldn't be it's own zone (despite "cityzone" wishes, alas) and Ghostlands is primarily more of Eversong but darker- so maybe they just consolidated the three?

The leak goes against the single thing Metzen said (return to Quel'thalas) but it hits the notes of something I said before, that an expansion only in Quel'thalas and Zul'aman doesn't have enough theme variety to carry an expansion. So they add Lordaeron, and the mystery additional fourth area is Wildhammer instead of Naga or a void portal.
I totally get what you're saying. It's just still a bit off to me I think? But to be clear, I would love this. I would not be upset even in the slightest. I'm just trying to temper expectations. I fully expect a 4 zone Quel'thalas.

Oh, Eastweald and Northeron lines up with Paladins and Shamans for everyone. That would be clever.

Ah damn I totally misunderstood as usual, it's the damn community members playing them, I thought it was a panel of Blizz talking about Delves lol, why I mentioned earlier why so much time on them.

In the words of Bilbo Baggins: I want to see Mountains again, Gandalf!

I really hope Northeron exists and ends up being a huge mountainous region which is very vertical and snowy. Wintry and constantly rocked by blizzards. It's been too long since we had that.

what do you think? we gonna have Silvermoon as Sanctuary City or more-alike Suramar in legion and the expansion hub will be again stormwind and orgrimmar?

Silvermoon sanctuary with reasoning being High Elves and Blood Elves reconnecting.

If you remember, there was a video where Ion said that they want to eventually remove combat addons (WA/Nameplates/Bossmods/Hekili/etc). And that requires a very big overhaul of pretty much every system in the game. So I'm pretty hopeful about what we will see.

Well it is limited, because it's not their entire event so they're giving what slots they're given. They'll post their own deep-dive stuff anyway no doubt, so yeah it's a bit silly to think we'd get the same amount of info that we'd get during a Blizzcon bc they control that as where Gamescon they do not.

But Silvermon as city could be pretty massive, if you think in TBC the HALF of the city is large, imagine now, the city complete, could be same size as suramar (city)

A modern, somewhat frozen, somewhat coniferous rainforest version of Stormheim with warring Wildhammer Gryphon Riders and Amani Forest Stalkers would be incredible.

Still wish for Northern EK. At least then we could have a better version of Alterac with proper winter themes high in the mountain.

Feel like we'll all get Silvermoon. However, if we don't then I'm sure Gilneas will probably be more built up for the Alliance (as it's the nearest city). Everything seems to be focussed on Quel'Thalas though, so I feel like it'll just be a sanctuary city for Midnight.

Okay dudes and dudettes while y'all tear each other new buttholes over which part of the 4 day long event should have been shaved off to create longer dev panels, I'm gonna watch prevous announcements and see how long they were.

They have their own stage, I don't think there's any 'slots' forced upon them by the convention, outside of the 15 minute buffer times between things there is always something happening on their stage.
