    Just like Earthen then?

    Who are.... an... allied race!?

Edit: Or, actually, like Void Elves/Nightborne/Highmountain/Lightforged.

I mean, every single race and class to ever have come out is, yeah.

I still think northeron is not being moved but I do have to admit this sounds very nice
Sargeras is going to be the last titan and the rest of the Pantheon will die.

Northeron is just an easy thing to point at right now. I'm still 50/50 on it, but I wouldn't care if they just redid the Hinterlands as this. The zone has a high elf, forest troll and dwarf presence. I think something along the lines is bound to happen.

I don't believe it either but I gotta say imo WoW's changing, things that should not be possible in this engine are happening (dragonriding, Undermine ground mount experiment, housing, Dimensius fight is crazy)

I've watched a lot of interviews and am engaged in a lot of the bigger picture stuff of the game and to me them saying the next 20 years is a big statement. Look at Gamescom panels, an hour to game systems but hours and hours into community housing/delves and whatnot. Blizzard is heavily leaning into finding new audiences and I can totally see the game changing in ways most of us can't imagine. Now I doubt this will be happening until post WSS but I can see them heavily experimenting and seeing what works and what doesn't.

I'm a huge believer of Housing adding a lot of new players to the game, heck my wife that's a casual gamer is all into it because of decorating and collecting. They just heavily need to fix new player intro, it's so complicated for new players.

Well the Warcraft 2 manual describes it as having rock, lumber, and frozen storms that the Mages summoned. Sounds like a forested and snowy mountain.

You're right! I forgot those and only considered the mountains in Thaldraszus, which if memory serves are less snowy.

One day we'll all look back at these posts when they finally announce tinkers we'll just laugh, although Blizzard's going to be the ultimate troll and name them something else.

The three on the left reek of AI generation

Edit: I will say, I threw the azshara/turalyon ones through three AI art detectors and they all come back saying its not AI, which is... Something.

That is so obviously AI there is no point even talking about it.

So the TWW part of the 2023 BlizzCon opening panel that had Metzen reveal the entire Worldsoul Saga, talk about Midnight and TLL, warning us that the cinematic won't be badass, showing the opening cinematic, showing the feature trailer and Holly going over the features again briefly was 25 minutes.
There was a 40 minute What's Next Panel and and a 44 minute Deep Dive Panel.

So a grand total of 109 minutes.

As DF was revealed in a Live Stream it is easier to count as the whole thing was one video. 1 hour and 10 minutes. Buuut the stream starts with a 10 minute countdown, followed by a weird mix of previous cinematics, ingame clips and blizzcon footage. And after that 5 minutes of tone deaf self congratulary dick sucking.
So the DF stuff begins 16 minutes in. Also There is a 5 and a half (let'just say 5 minutes to ease the math) gap for WotLK: Classic. So shave off 21 minutes from the stream time.
We had zone previews, the dracthyr, the evoker, the HUD, the talents and the profession systems. All in all a pretty meaty and much needed list of features (besides Dracthyr and evoker. LOL)
All of this in 49 minutes

    Shadowlands

I don't have the full least, but it seems all it had was a 45 minute What's next panel. (Frankly that was more than enough for such a feature light expansion)
With the 12 minute reveal at the opening ceremony that spend most of its time Ion cheekily joking about how so much got leaked that time, the grand total came out as 57 minutes.
Whoops, scratch that. Managed to find the 50 minute Deep Dive. So 107 minutes

    BFA
Imma be real with you, this has been my favorite Expansion reveal of em all. Plus it was great to see Brack humble himself by having to reveal Vanilla. Oddly enough this was the first reveal that came with the opening cinematic. That was indeed not the rule.
Besides the opening ceremony where 10 minutes was devoted to BfA.
    We had
    60 minutes What's Next Panel
    40 minute System deep dive
And some panels like the 'we like and value women" that we don't count and the live QnA.
    So 110 minutes in total

    Legion

Okay, this is the most relevant one because it was also a Gamescom reveal,
First of all the girl revealing it was pretty darn cute. Lovely accent too.
Second of all, there were no other real panels, just a few stuff like dance contest and shit.
Just one stream, scheduled to be an hour long but was 79 minutes.
Thirdly, I am serious that chick is so darn cute.

So what can be gathered is that at BlizzCon and expansion reveal gets about two hours of screen time, while any other case gets one hour.
Give or take 10 minutes based on the circlejerk blowjob ammount.

With all that said and done.

Let's see the currently official panel schedule that has everyone clutching their pearls as it comfirms that they have nothing to reveal and we are all going to die of boredome unless we have an exodus again. (and with FFXIV not doing too good this time probably not to Eorzea).

The opening ceremony: Undisclosed ammount of time devoted to at the very least the cinematic.
Housing Showcase: It has its own panel and it is almost 3 hours long. 2 hours 45 minutes is longer than what an expansion gets in total.
Midnight Dev Panel: 30 minutes. A bit short, but considering housing has its own showcase, not that bad
Housing Showcase 2: 2 hour 15 minutes. They really fucking milking it for all its worth. We are looking at a grand total of 5 hours of housing stuff
Systems Download Dev Panel: 30 minutes. No idea what's a Systems Download is, but 60 minutes of Dev Panels ain't that bad.

All in all I feel that besides the Housing Showcase we are looking at as much time as Legion got, just more spread out. And more than what Dragonflight got.
So keep that in mind as you manage your expectations. This ammount is fine.

Azshara design looks AI generated. Also why is she humanoid?

Ugh, i don't get peoples obsession with wanting Azshara to turn back into an elf.

    She adores her current form.

Because they don't exist elsewhere, it's AI.
