Because that is a version of her old days highborne outfit. See WotA dungeon Azshara.The ones supposed ai image has the armor somewhat of her bfa design if you look closely.

I think Orcs also look okay in a good amount of sets, but otherwise I agree- less human-like races distort your gear way too much for it to look decent. If it weren't for this issue, I'd mostly play Tauren and Draenei, but it annoys me way too much.

Even Elves aren't completely immune to it- they have the right shape to make most armor look good, but the ears and eyebrows clipping through nearly everything irritates me. But that's a small issue compared to what other races have to put up with.

Yeah I did not want to list everything. I think Orcs (upright) and Female Trolls and Forsaken all can do mogs reasonably well.
Also I think sacrificing helmet mogs is easy to do and removes most of the elf clipping plus reduces some of the worst distortions (e.g. worgen and tauren). Most CRPGs have a no helmet option (or a mod); people want to be able to see their characters' faces. Personally I go no helm or use something like a crown or something that floats.

Dunno about these pictures, but i can't say much because i thought all the legit leaks about dracthyr were fake in DF.

Even to this day, it still seems like a fake. What a horrible, ugly addition to Warcraft universe.

I mean, that was just an illusion so Farondis would recognise her. I doubt she would be capable of doing anything (and it also completely undermines the whole "Naga curse" thing)

In an expansion which has been marketed as the unification of the Elves - why would the biggest villain in the history of Warcraft Elves NOT show up in her Elf form?

I acknowledged playerbase skewing Elves and Humans. Orcs, trolls and tauren follow right up. The game is better with a choice for everyone.

I love having choice, and I think the variety WoW offers is essential. I play a ton of different races myself. I'm just pointing out that objectively, most people tend to favour the "hot" races. The reason I say this is because people often use the "we don't need a third elf race" argument in this thread, and tend to ignore the fact that Blizzard is here to make money.

Because what Azshara needs is yet another single-patch half-assed attempt to include her? Likewise, what we need is another directionless expansion that deals with like 5 plots at all without satisfyingly resolving a single one
