Trolls are playable too ^^
There is no way they would connect classic and retail collections.
Story started to focus on Void elves, who are basically Blood elven(Horde) outcasts, who dabbled in void. You are called a void elf, you turn into blueberry every now and then. It was just a pointless ''compromise'', they should have added high elves from the start, who were part of the alliance since vanilla and had big presence mainly in wotlk, mop and legion. So in my case it boils down to ruined immersion.. It is like pretending game... It is like picking greenish skin on the darkspear and pretending that i am a forest troll.
As somebody who has been known to favour the Alliance and High Elves from time to time (and I only speak for myself), here are the boxes I want to be able to tick with my elf:
- Is on the Alliance [check]
- Is from Quel'Thalas and Silvermoon [check]
- Can have natural hair colours, particularly blonde [check]
- Can have blue eyes [check]
- Has one of the Windrunners as its leader [check]
- Can be a Hunter (Ranger) [check]
- Can be a Paladin
- Can hang out in Quel'Thalas and Silvermoon
- Is called "High Elf"
- Can use normal elven hairstyles
- Does not turn into a blueberry in combat
- Can have Warcraft 2-style facial tattoos/war paint
@Merryck
wow wasn't that hard I guess?
Connecting collections would "force" people to play MoP and/or PRE TBC classic/SoD so there is no way this is real.
For my perspective, would you be willing to share if this is more of a subjectively backed statement or, if there are things about her specifically, things she's done, objectively observable moments or facts about her that you find compelling?
Because I'm of the mind that a statement such as "I find X compelling" in a subjective meaning is, ultimately saying nothing. One could just as easily say then "I find anything they do with her compelling" with there being no backbone to the logic of that term.
I'd be curious to know what is compelling from an objective standpoint, unless you think such a thing is non existent. Then hey time wasted typing.

Sargeras is going to be the last titan and the rest of the Pantheon will die.
12.0.5/12.0.7 - Isle of Fangs
12.1 - Lordaeron and Undercity.
Right, but Blood elves ARE those high elves. They just couldn't accept they were in the horde.
Although this is the first leak I hope to be true. High Elf druids would be dope. Though the explanation doesn't make much sense. Quelthalas barrow dens? But who actually granted them the ability to be druids? Druidism is always granted by a godlike being. (Cenarious, Loa, Gorak Tul, etc.)

Man i hope that previous leak is right and we get High Elf Druids or something, we really need more Druid + Pally races
It's subjective for sure! I just find her interesting. I didn't like Fyraak. I hated the Jailer. Never really cared much about the Old Gods. But for some reason, I really like Xal'atath (insert feet jokes)
I like this idea of her being an upstart Void Lord, something ancient that has waited out her time. I think her personality is well written, especially this expansion. She feels like a classic Warcraft type of villain in the modern era and I appreciate that. Maybe the most objective I can get about it is that she seems to be flawed, even through her successes, which I think qualifies as objectively compelling. If they turn around and have her say "I knew the Goblins would betray me and give it to the Ethereals. I knew it'd lead me to Dimensius," then I'll take that back.
But yes, in case it wasn't specified before, that's my own personal opinion. I know a lot of people aren't fans of her.
