Midnight 12.X Patches & World Soul Saga Speculation Thread

We have 7 ranged classes & 9 melee classes. I doubt the next class would be melee dps. That's why I like the idea of bard, a Tank/Healer/Ranged-DPS is a combo that doesn't exist yet (if you don't count Druid)

I think Renilash being Midnight is actually a red herring and it will have something to do with the Arathi and Lightbound vs Azshara and ??? after the saga, when the Titans and Xal have been dealt with.

Also we have no ranged tank yet. 'Im also convinced a new bow/gun using class is the way to go.

But warcaster sounds more a weapon than a class. Reminds me of the wookiee bowcaster.

Feel like the brutalist racist, empire that lives in a continent away that worships an odd aspect of the light might be the key for that yeah. Another expedition is gonna show up probably side with the red dawn. It’s gonna be a complication for what’s going on with the void and then it’s gonna go quiet for a little bit and then after last Titan we’ll be rocking up to Avaloran to overthrow an empire, I guess

If only there was some kind of ranged hero character that was central to the plot of this saga and also wielded a type of magic central to the plot as well.

The cinematic will probably be followed by a features trailer, it won't just be the story.

It makes sense if you have no faith, but after the gameplay improvements in TWW, I'm surprised to see the vibe like that.

She doesn't even use void magic. Sometimes her void elf racial procs; that's about it. The most we've seen her do is a void-imbued arrow barrage. Void Elf Hunters already do that.

They are not known for using shadow magic either and somehow they got Dark Ranger hero talents.

I'm not saying Midnight, a very dark and very elvish expansion would be a great time to release Dark Ranger as a Hero Class, but it would be. The right thing to do would be to replace the DR hero talent tree for Hunters and give us a proper Dark Ranger.

I want Midnight to be great, but I really don't think it's going to be anything but a reskinned DF / TWW - predictable zones / dungeons / raids, lots of old content being reused. Plus housing. Let me guess? 4 zones, 8 dungeons (4 leveling, 4 max, with 4 in the first pool of 8 seasonal dungeons), 1 8 boss raid. Then repeat for each patch with maybe 1 or 2new dungeons.

We're just missing a lot of Light forces on Azeroth so I'm expecting something to bring them over, even if it's just Velen summoning them.

That being said I would like it if they add one new Hero tree to every class that is either Light or Void themed. Wielder of the Eclipse Paladin, Nightmare Druid.... Lightbound Voidscarred Demon Hunter would be choice.
