Taking a look at the pre-purchase goodies...
Transmog
- Lightstrider Raiment
- Voidstrider Raiment
Mounts
- Lightwing Dragonhawk
- Voidwing Dragonhawk
- Voidlight Surger
Clear Light vs. Void theme. But words like "strider" and "raiment" also suggests being light and agile.
The Dragonhawks are likely meant to be visually paired with the transmog set, while the Voidlight Surger might be some type of elemental being that pulses in light and shadow similar to Beledar?
It's interesting you can even pick Void as a player, given it's the antagonistic force of Midnight. Typically, you only get cosmetics from the protagonists. Could that suggest that the Void's role will turn out to be more complex than we know? Or is it simply a way to play into the whole duality of the Light vs. Void theme, and perhaps an attempt to offer players with edgy classes like Warlock and Priest something less glowy?
Either way, the theme for this bundle kind of does make you think about agile, lithe, flying scouts that traverse the Voidstorm above Quel'Thalas. Could support a floating island theory, I suppose.
That said, the TWW bundle has storm gryphons and they ended up being relevant for about 5 minutes.
