They confirmed as much when they said TLT zones were in development during TWW. It's getting pretty clear that TWW's original plan was ditched after 11.1- hence why Orweyna was Poochie'd (until TLT), and Faerin got a (bad, unfortunately) questline to pretend she was important to the expansion.

Metzen basically axed half of the Khaz Algar cinematic and they had to pivot- just a little bit, not enough to impact development.

The new race was a mistake, the writing was bland at the best of times, hero talents were a dud.
Midnight needs to be the anti - TWW.

It's a banger idea. Although I'd prefer WoW to have Sengoku era instead. Heian was more court intrigue and that isn't really WoW's strong suit.
But if we could get Heian Kyo as a hub city I'm gonna subscribe for life.

I think sengoku would work better for a full "wow japan" expansion though Heian Kyo as the basis for elune worshiping moon elf rabbit city makes more sense to me and think it'd end up being really beautiful

It would be such a great potential to explain Asian Humans as well as these crazy yokai tribes- already set up by Virmen and Vulpera, among others (if you want to say Tortollans are from Kappa). I think it's in the tank way down the line and I look forward to it.

I mean, it's Quel'thalas.

Everything there is orange and red.
Those could just be the city lights.

As for the flame sparks, we don't know if someone else is involved.
If say, Rommath is present, those could be from his spells.

And the lighted up background doesn't seem to flicker in-between shots, so i think that's just the setting sun.

It won't be a 'whole new team', that's not really how things work. It'll be largely the same people who worked on parts of TWW or previous expansions. Only housing was largely the first big project the Blizzard Boston team worked on, the rest of the stuff is as usual.

How certain are we of that? Being born as just a hozen is not a barrier from becoming immortal.

Pretty sure Wukong became Immortal by mistaking an immortality potion for more booze when he was drunk, and drinking it.
At least that was one way he became immortal. He gained immortality from like three different sources, so he is now super duper, kindergarten rules triple immortal.

It's the Monkey King. There's probably 5 different stories of how he became immortal, at least 8 of which are made up on the spot and 9 of which wouldn't even work if they happened.

I've been a big advocate for all classes for everyone. I find it enriched races in other RPGS such as D&D to not have their races be monoliths, and I find it a lose-lose to limit player choice on top. It sucks when your main can't be your favorite race.

New class. Preferably a Spellbreaker/Spellblade, but I'd love any new class to try.
