The screenshot shows new horde customizations which makes it automatically fake
Also, the video the shot is allegedly from is 4 minutes long. None of the feature trailers are anywhere near that long. Longest one of modern times is Legion at 2:48 and shortest is Shadowlands at only 1:55 (Dragonflight didn't have a traditional features trailer). But maybe there's so much in Midnight it warrants a much longer one.

Well if it were to indeed go along with the twelvezero leak that mentions the new DH races, those were listed for 11.2.7, so EA that means the video would also show Housing which comes at the same time and then there's all the actual Midnight stuff it listed as well. So while I still strongly say this is fake (compensating for falling for Avaloren), if you were to believe the premise, the length could be justified.
This wait is unbearable. I am giddy and excited like a little school boy for tonight.
Figured I’d post my own little wishlist for Midnight:
- Character Creation overhaul: As others have mentioned I’d like to see some updates in how we create our characters. Select Core races and then choose a sub-race from there. Pick Dwarf and select between Ironforge Dwarf, Wildhammer or Dark Iron.
Additional options like RP elements, choose Age, affiliation/clan/home nation, family name etc. Have this information display on a new tab on the character/gear menu in-game. Able to inspect others character info. This is all just for immersion/RP and can be skipped of course.
- Character Customization: Pretty straight forward, I just want a ton of new options for all races. Especially those races that have such lackluster choices like Kul Tirans for instance. More beards, hairstyles, body tattoos/markings, faces, body posture/hunched or upright etc.
- Spell Customizations: Like Warlock Green fire I want more options for other classes. Silver Light for paladins, holy fire skin for SP, blood/vampiric spells for SP, choose your elementals for Shaman, more ghost wolf/spirit animal forms.
I wish we could change Hero class visuals as well. Let’s say you’re playing a goblin sentinel hunter, instead of a lunar circle maybe have the option to replace it with a red reticle dropping bombs on enemies instead of stars. Just give us the options to choose.
- Archaeology Revamp: Bring back Archaeology & change how it works. Have it focus more on puzzles and mini-games than just digging around for fragments. Example: You collect 100/100 fragments from digging or killing mobs in a digsite, then when you click solve you get a puzzle/minigame to complete the item. There are tons of mini-games from past expansions and past world Quests to use. I think it would make it more interactive.
Having special keystones obtainable from Archaeology that can be used to enter a treasure-hunting variant of delves would be cool too. More puzzles to solve, unlock treasure chambers rewarding cosmetic items (no player power in this variants) , really play out that Tomb Raider/Indiana Jones fantasy.
- More more more neighborhoods: Hopefully this is a given but I just want to express my desire for more neighborhoods for housing. A Quel’thalas/eversong neighborhood or an Amirdrassil neighborhood would be so sick!
And most importantly: Let us have a unique house in each neighborhood. Aka not limited to 1 per faction/2 per warband. I really want to have a separate home for my Elvish characters and my Dwarven characters.
- Less Transmog restrictions:
I do think it’s alright to have some armor restrictions so you don’t see a warrior running around in Mage-tier, but one option I’d really like to see is letting us transmog our weapons into any weapons usable by our class.
Let outlaw Rogues transmog 1handers into daggers, and Assassins transmog daggers into swords.
Let Warriors transmog 2handers into 1handers &
let Mages transmog that 1h + offhand into a staff.
The only restriction I think I’d like to keep is that ranged hunters keep using ranged weapons. Although I guess if they could animate hunters throwing polearms like a headhunter that could look pretty amazing
A neighborhood in Quel'Thalas would make sense so you can pick between an urban one and a rural one (SW / Org).

Not having a neighborhood in Quel'thalas would be a crime.

My wishlist would definitely include:
-New Race(es)
-New Class(es)
-Profession overhaul
-Transmog overhaul (remove all armor, weapon and holiday restrictions, class restrictions from tier sets can stay)
-Glyph system overhaul and re-introduction, maybe even via the barber shop (could also open up new filler items for the trading shop (e.g. green spells, red spells, etc..))

Just got off a long night shift, so I’ll get to sleep for most of the wait today which should help with the excitement making the day drag.
It’s an awful hill to die on. It lacks all common sense, reasoning and brain power - but I’m standing on business. The Azshara and Turalyon cinematic leak is real.

I know it's not really a feature stuff, but i hope with alpha 12.0 this will be fixed for races affected, since TWW started 2h axes/swords pretty much float next to the male orcs body and it was normal before TWW, it's sheathed properly on female model.
