    adjusted for giant shoulderpads

Idk if this is a knock against that pic of more DH races or not but don't BE and NE demon hunters have a unique combat stance and that orc is just using the normal orc dual wield stance.

  3. #104243
They have a unique stance for warglaives and use regular dual wield stance for other weapons.

But that orc is using the Vengeance artifact warglaives I think, so you're right, that's the wrong stance.

Whether or not that's real, idk, but it's giving me flashbacks to that time Blizzard officially leaked Warlords of Draenor like a day before it was announced in a video that had a dev sitting in front of a backdrop plastered with the logo.

Midnight is in pre-alpha stage right now. The final animation for orc demon hunters might not be ready.

How do you do, fellow demon hunters?

The Illidari are so down on numbers they accept filthy Orcs now

At least the Illidari had rebel man'ari and krokul as part of their numbers in Legion that can explain draenei. The fuck are orc DHs coming from?

Recruitment numbers drop significantly when you're a class defined by your goal of destroying the Burning Legion, and then do so in the very same expansion you were introduced in.

I bet the Demon Hunter's class hall is just a bunch of Demon Hunters sitting around reminiscing about the time when being a Demon Hunter meant something

There's apparently still a load of Legion remnants around the cosmos.

I mean it can easily be explained with Outland inhabitants fighting the remnants of the Legion, the Legion pushing back and the "need" for more DH or a new generation of DH. If we were able to extend DK to all races, DH for orcs and draenei, two of the races the most impacted by the Legion, doesn't feel like too much of a reach

Also, why is the orc red?

If Durotan turns green from mild fel exposure, without even touching a pit lord's blood, then any orc being infused with a literal demon should skip the wait and go straight to viridescent.

There were fel orcs in Illidan's army, it writes itself. The only reason not to is that Illidan was intimidated by the orcish race and feared that if he made them DHs they would threaten his screentime (and harem).
Dickmann's Law: As a discussion on the Lore forums becomes longer, the probability of the topic derailing to become about Sylvanas approaches 1.

Tinkers will be the next Class confirmed.

Probably wouldn't be too far of a reach, the argument is definitely possible to make. Regarding the photo of the supposedly new race-class combinations, isn't a Demon Hunters tattoos integral to their class, what gives them the ability to harness demonic powers? The ones in the picture has no tattoos, except for the void elf.

Yeah this is why I hope the Void DH spec is real as it could also help with introducing new races to the class.

Orcs are easily explainable though, even without it.

Because fel orcs are red. Always have been.

Any leaks on this fine morning? Besides the customisations and old man Turalyon.

So, the Shrouded/Enshrouded as Xal’atath’s army is legitimate. Just trust me bro.

Who do y’all want as the new Lich King?

New barbershop options + class combos are being bundled together with an overhaul of racials (renamed to ancestral powers) and tied together in a rework of how races function within the game with fluff added in aimed at roleplayers. You can swap between using the current human and kul’tiran models as an option the barbershop.

You can pick a different ancestral power after every weekly reset.

Under the new system, trolls get a new body type if they own Midnight.

The Horde welcomes night elves as long as they're dead and Alliance are cool with blood elves as long as they have blue eyes call themselves high elves.

Maybe one day we'll get some half orc representation? I guess that's a bit more complicated than pointy ears. /sigh

I'm going to main a blood elf druid.

Figured I’d post my own little wishlist for Midnight:

    - Character Creation overhaul: As others have mentioned I’d like to see some updates in how we create our characters. Select Core races and then choose a sub-race from there. Pick Dwarf and select between Ironforge Dwarf, Wildhammer or Dark Iron.
Additional options like RP elements, choose Age, affiliation/clan/home nation, family name etc. Have this information display on a new tab on the character/gear menu in-game. Able to inspect others character info. This is all just for immersion/RP and can be skipped of course.

    - Character Customization: Pretty straight forward, I just want a ton of new options for all races. Especially those races that have such lackluster choices like Kul Tirans for instance. More beards, hairstyles, body tattoos/markings, faces, body posture/hunched or upright etc.

    - Spell Customizations: Like Warlock Green fire I want more options for other classes. Silver Light for paladins, holy fire skin for SP, blood/vampiric spells for SP, choose your elementals for Shaman, more ghost wolf/spirit animal forms.
I wish we could change Hero class visuals as well. Let’s say you’re playing a goblin sentinel hunter, instead of a lunar circle maybe have the option to replace it with a red reticle dropping bombs on enemies instead of stars. Just give us the options to choose.

    - Archaeology Revamp: Bring back Archaeology & change how it works. Have it focus more on puzzles and mini-games than just digging around for fragments. Example: You collect 100/100 fragments from digging or killing mobs in a digsite, then when you click solve you get a puzzle/minigame to complete the item. There are tons of mini-games from past expansions and past world Quests to use. I think it would make it more interactive.
Having special keystones obtainable from Archaeology that can be used to enter a treasure-hunting variant of delves would be cool too. More puzzles to solve, unlock treasure chambers rewarding cosmetic items (no player power in this variants) , really play out that Tomb Raider/Indiana Jones fantasy.

    - More more more neighborhoods: Hopefully this is a given but I just want to express my desire for more neighborhoods for housing. A Quel’thalas/eversong neighborhood or an Amirdrassil neighborhood would be so sick!
And most importantly: Let us have a unique house in each neighborhood. Aka not limited to 1 per faction/2 per warband. I really want to have a separate home for my Elvish characters and my Dwarven characters.

    - Less Transmog restrictions:
I do think it’s alright to have some armor restrictions so you don’t see a warrior running around in Mage-tier, but one option I’d really like to see is letting us transmog our weapons into any weapons usable by our class.
Let outlaw Rogues transmog 1handers into daggers, and Assassins transmog daggers into swords.
    Let Warriors transmog 2handers into 1handers &
let Mages transmog that 1h + offhand into a staff.
The only restriction I think I’d like to keep is that ranged hunters keep using ranged weapons. Although I guess if they could animate hunters throwing polearms like a headhunter that could look pretty amazing
That’s a good one. I’d like these too. Million’s is slim to 0 though. Especially if we get a new race. But how amazing it would be if we get this and a new race too.

    Spell customisations are cool

This just made me doubt it more. Would they really gate some racial power behind a weekly reset type deal? Would people just not get annoyed like all the other times that something that changes power is gated behind a choice you can't change for a time?
