The whole "this specific tone of green is fel" goes out of the window the moment you say "but if it's enough fel, it's now orange and not looking any different to Ragnaros' magic" and I would rather have them just having fun with it and making it good looking and fitting instead of hyper focusing and giving us an expansion that looks the same all the time.

Yeah, blood knights also had red Light for their one race exclusive Light spell.

It's also wild to me that the silver Light of Elune is getting counted as arcane magic in druids/hunters nowadays when it was always meant to be the night elves' version of Light.

There were fel orcs in Illidan's army, it writes itself. The only reason not to is that Illidan was intimidated by the orcish race and feared that if he made them DHs they would threaten his screentime (and harem).

The vengeance hulk form would have also sold so much better with a Chaos Orc or Broken behind it. It was a failure imo in Legion that they did not give orc and draenei demon hunters; it is one per faction and it is an opportunity to give two requested models in a restricted way (Chaos orcs and Broken) BOTH of which were already developed either for WoD or for later in Legion.

That reminds me of the WoD Felorcs who were drastically different to Outlands Felorcs, which they handwaved away by "effects of dead Mannoroths blood".

The characters appeared to have been ripped right out a model viewer (determined via their lighting), and the font was determined to be inconsistent with what's normally used in feature trailers.

A copycat was trying to sell their fake fel orc, but was quickly shut down. We also had a CGI shot of a very Charles Dance looking Turalyon so there was a debate about how old he should look.

This just made me doubt it more. Would they really gate some racial power behind a weekly reset type deal? Would people just not get annoyed like all the other times that something that changes power is gated behind a choice you can't change for a time?

There is sort of a precedent for this. Embrace of the Loa, the Zandalari racial, only lets you swap every 5 days. Personally I just think it should be like a talent tree loadout with choice nodes, mocked it up here:

My most charitable take would be that they'd make new racial starting zones an option, but in no reality would I believe that they'd just get rid of Exile's Reach altogether. There's really no reason to. It's there, and it's not mandatory content

On the topic of optional starting zones, i wish they'd let the original DK races+ worgen and goblins choose between the traditional starting zone and the option of being a 4th war DK by starting with the allied races+Pandaren.

Traditional one is such a slog if you just want to get into the game - its literally the Exiles Reach for DKs

It'd have also helped the class not being so damn-pigeon holed. The hulks for the orc form being like the huge WoD fel orcs or like movie Blackhand would be a cool way to do a low-armor fel style melee class, allowing it to also cover a barbarian niche.

Assuming the CGI Turalyon is the one linked above here, I really cannot see why it wouldn't be AI. The shoulders are different in a way that immediately screams AI generated.
