Sure it doesnt look like her old elven dress, but it really closely resembles her naga one, even to small details. Or it looks like mixture of both really. Except that her corset is not that revealing in the new image, but that doesnt contradict with Blizzard's track of hiding female skin in later years.

looking at hip part of the dress, it has those white dots that are seens on her naga dress, but that purple crystal is something we see on her night elf gown



i think, calling it a merge between these two styles is acurate enough

Again, I would not be surprised if this is real. But I do not like it and I hope it is not. Because what this is telling me is not that they are using an elf form for Azshara or that they are using Azshara in the story; both of those are OK by me and I would expect them. What it is telling me is that they are modernizing her outfit with more skin covered, hair to the side and more combat ready and that either means the artist is new and/or does not care for intent of her old design OR that there is intent on this design and Azshara is meant to be less aloof and less dramatic.

Looking more and more at that image i am again more convinced it is an AI. As people said, really short eyebrows, quite short ears for a night elf, that middle corset part looks too busy, like classic AI images, that overcomplicate simple designs.. Even those black random markings on arms and legs.. also her arms are too bare, it lacks her classic armbands. Also, instead of the decorative band on a left tigh, the AI image remakes it as a black markings..

I would assume it is AI, pretty good one at that, but still AI. At first glance Lor'themar clothes look very much like the ones in game, but the more you look, the more it looks like a generic-fantasy version of his outfit, missing all the interesting details.

I think you mis understand me. Sometimes I am being sarcastic, sometimes I like the sound of the leak or its feature but do not believe it’s true at all even though I state this is what I want.

The leaks I believe are the ones that have all the information we know is coming and are in the disappointing side. And it’s not that I actually believe it’s a genuine leak, but that this is more in line with what I believe we will actually have

Do we all not know what dragons look like, and yet, they still appear humanoid to make mortals more comfortable.

It is also matter of convenience. Dragons are huge, so being small enough and having opposable thumbs makes it easier for them to interact with things built for mortal races.

Another point against that leak is that no way that's going to be the expansion key art, right? As good as that image is, pretty much all of the previous key art featured recognizable characters who are big players in the expansion. It would also be unwise to show the key art way before the reveal because once they start doing all of the press rounds the picture would already be old news to most people.

We're not gonna sit here and trash blizzard cinematics now. TWW cinematic is the highest cutting edge quality shit i've ever seen for Game promotions.

Well, i would expect them to at least make sure the key features of characters match. Lor'themar's face is all wrong, and not just a little.

I hope those character CGI models are not real tbh. Turalyon and Lor'themar look positively Ancient. Any chance of some decent looking male characters?
Azshara model could be from a flashback but it seems a waste to make a high-res model for a tiny snippet of a launch cinematic

Eyebrows, she has none. That affects facial expression. Also, you never could see her belly button. She wore a corset. She did show skin on the sides though.

Why not? They will keep their units in China/SK/Taiwan informed. Especially in China where the game is run by a different company
